Is this secretly one of those "Last Post Wins" threads? It won't die...

Jax / SF game here. Oh joy! Why can't that be Fox?
-
Can't figure the Raiders equation out. I think they can muddy the waters, but don't know how that'd effect the Bills (we hold the tie breaker w/ them one on one and unsure of conference record at this time). Maybe playing for something may help them against the Chargers in the final week. I know SD doesn't hold many tie breakers, with the exception of beating us.

Still not the answer I was looking for, try again

Population density -- the bottom states #40-50: South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, Utah, Nevada and Idaho. All w/in this area. A lot of NOTHING!! If you want to look even further, Oregon, Oklahoma and Colorado are near the bottom as well. Nothingness! If you add up all those states in the Red / Cin vs Min -- probably just about CA & NY's 60 million. Looks like there are about 20 states on that list...start adding. Let me know. I'm not bringing politics into this like you. In fact, politics should not even be a part of this discussion. Go to the Off the Wall area for that (never seem much there either).

Isn't it? Pretty much everything between California and Illinois is void of existence. My daughter goes to college in NY, I've driven the CA to NY, NY to CA route often via 80 (where much of this TV viewing area is for the Cin/Min game). I know what's in between those two states. NOTHING!! Oh BTW, did you happen to see where I live? Get over it.

The masses get Cin v Min (albeit most of that area is wasteland)? That's the game I least want to watch. Thank goodness for Red Zone

Do you remember the first football game you went too?
707BillsFan replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My first NFL game? I know it was in the 70's...always a 49er / Rams contest. My mother used to work for State Farm and they got free tix to the 49er / Rams games each / every year. They had to give 49ers tix away pre-Montana. My first Bills game was also in SF, last game of the season in '80. Bills needed a win to FINALLY get into the playoffs. They beat SF and Montana w/ a gimpy Fergy. Don't recall a huge celebration though. I just remember it raining and my dad was miserable and kept wanting to leave before the final tick of the clock. We toughed it out though... -
I'm not reading 8 pages of people speculating. This is how I feel. Keep the dang draft picks and pick the best available at that current time. We have too many holes to fill. Rosen is the guy, but unless someone starts spreading some bad info on him (hint, hint), he won't fall to our pick. Mayfield is like 5'11" ... no short QB's.

We kept hearing that not too many wineries were actually involved. The only one on the list that I really know, and knew about was Paradise Ridge, since it's in the Fountain Grove area. Driving down 101, it looks like some of the vines around the Kendall Jackson estate have been torched, charred....not too many though.

Exactly, he fell for Breitbart / Infowars BS

The Song[s] You Sing Too Loud Every Time, Though Embarassing
707BillsFan replied to boyst's topic in Off the Wall Archives
The song that gets my ear bug going and I can't get it out of my head (and sing aloud when I'm in the car)...It's Raining Men / The Weather Girls. Seriously, I have no business singing that song, but it's so dang catchy. -
Bills gear in Rochester/Lockport

I agree, the Henrietta Dicks is the best bet. I've looked at the stores in Victor and Webster and the options were pathetic. -
I had to go through Coffey Park the day after to check on someone's home. They were down in Santa Cruz and couldn't get up. I've driven through that area 100's of times and it was surreal. When they say it looks like a bomb was dropped, it really does look like a bomb was dropped. I had no idea where I was at most of the time. Those little things you recognize to help you guide your way through an area are, obviously, no longer there. Aluminum wheels melted and puddled into the street...crazy!! Amazing though, the house I was looking for was still standing. I got to tell someone some great news. The area is now blockaded w/ National Guard vehicles. It's opening up to residents tomorrow and Saturday so they can come in for the first time. Sunday it'll be open to the public...not looking forward to that zoo of gawkers, or driving through that neighborhood for the next couple years while it awaits being rebuilt...it was my normal route anywhere. Thank goodness for the rains (it's a pretty good one as I type). I hope it's over. I personally know over 20 people who have lost their homes in various parts of the city. We need to move on and get into recovery mode. Stop the BS, downed wires most likely caused the fires.

Here is a link to ALL the structures burned... http://calfire-forestry.maps.arcgis.com/apps/PublicInformation/index.html?appid=5bbcbed430ad45e5a38e6be155ef5fec It was a crazy scene last Monday. I live adjacent to the Coffey Park area that was wiped off the map. Got a call just before 3am, but the city/county sent out the wrong alert. Nothing about a fire. Smelled the smoke before I got the call though. My street, since all other options were blocked, was the main thoroughfare out of Coffey Park. It was crazy, cars speeding down the street...and we still didn't really know what was going on. My neighbors and I stood outside, in disbelief, joking that the fire would not come our way...and how could it? We weren't in any "normal" fire path. Finally, someone in a car stuck in traffic in front of my house told us the fire was at the railroad track...time to scramble. Crated the animals, grabbed some random s### and took off...only to be stuck in traffic for an hour, in the main outlet out Luckily the fire didn't quite make it as far was our house...just over a block away it stopped. Chaotic!! Sad!! We will endure and rebuild!! #SonomaStrong #CoffeyStrong #SantaRosaStrong

Attendance Issues in Cali and how it relates to us
707BillsFan replied to VaMilBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's HOTTER inside the stadium. If it's 90 outside, it'll be quite a bit hotter inside...into the 100's. Been, but don't live -

He has no idea. Gotta love the Bay Area micro-climates. I've been in O.co where it's been 65 outside the stadium, but in the sun seems about 90 or hotter. -

I live in Sonoma County...some of the most beautiful rugged coastline around, but the water sucks...rough and always in the mid-50's. You need a wet suit to enter. SoCal on the other hand, a bit warmer....about 70. -

Re: San Francisco...besides having a poor team, there is a serious design flaw w/ the new stadium. They thought they'd be building this stadium around SF. They didn't have time to re-design the SF intended stadium that was built in Santa Clara. SF is quite bit cooler than the South Bay. You cannot sit in the sun w/o the risk of heat stroke (or worse). It's crazy. 49ers are looking at putting some type of covering / shade over the stadium. Until then, it'll look empty as the fans either avoid the place or find another spot to watch the game. -
