  1. First time I believe....1980, I was all of 12, playoff game vs the Chargers (first time in playoffs in my recognizable lifetime). Bills lead the whole game, until Fouts tossed long TD late in the game for the SD win. Then I learned how tough it would be being Bills fan.

Seeing the fan reaction this past year too, I shed a tear. Who didn't?

There were probably a tear shed at other points too, but those stick out.

  2. Tough call. Bills won 9 games last year. Many against teams that had surprisingly bad seasons (Raiders, Tampa, Denver, Miami) and caught some teams at the right time of the season (Atlanta, KC). Impossible to predict how the upcoming season will play out. Right now it looks tough. Last years schedule looked daunting too, but we managed to sneak into the playoffs.

I do think the defense will be better. Another season under McDermott w/ some more pieces that'll fit his scheme. AJ is the wild card. Could he be Jimmy G sneaky good? Or could he be Joe Dufek? As long as McCoy is healthy and able to contribute his typical stats....I believe we have enough personnel to get us .500. Put your money down on the over!!

The first round is not even over yet and the sky is already falling. The negativity is overwhelming.

Everyone I've heard (on TV and the radio) has praised what the Bills have done w/ these two picks. Buffalo fans...just need to be miserable for some reason. I don't get it. We got a QB, not the QB some people wanted...but a QB. There were four highly rated QB's, so odds of 75% being unhappy w/ the pick.

People are now complaining about the lack of picks? People were demanding the Bills move up in the draft to get a QB. We did and what do you think happened? We lost picks. Duh! Could we have waited at 12 for Allen, possibly. Edmunds wouldn't have been at 22 though. He was projected to be a Top 10 pick by many. I'll stick w/ the Bills assessments. I'll stick w/ the experts reviews. I'll ignore the miserable individuals who it pains to crack a smile and be happy. We have a QB, let's attempt to support him. I'm all in!

  4. As a UCLA & Bills fan, I had high hopes for Rosen w/ the Bruins...only to be let down. It could have been UCLA's porous defense or the fact he always seemed injured, UCLA never reached their potential w/ him. He looks polished, but something about him doesn't scream winner. I don't want to have that same feeling about him w/ the Bills. So it wouldn't kill me if the Bills didn't select Rosen.

  5. I've had it since it's inception, can't listen to radio in the car w/o it. My new car came w/ 6 mos free (Subaru), no CC needed for the trial period, but I had to let them know I was already a subscriber and was credited the 6 mos to my account. I believe we have the yearly plan too, saves a small amount of coin.

  6. Listening to some SiriusXM show yesterday afternoon (I believe Left Coast Live on Mad Dog). They were talking about the top 5 QB's in the draft. Nearly every Mock has these guys being drafted in the top six picks. They were saying all these guys have flaws and none of them are good enough to go that high. They questioned if this was just hype on the part of the media, agents, whoever to get their players talked about. There are several players that are better and deserve to be drafted ahead of the QB's and they believe that will happen. With that said, they said Allen would probably slide to 12 (Bills), Mayfield to 15.

I believe this to be true. I think this is all a smoke screen. I don't think the QB's will go as high as predicted. There will be a couple-three that drop quite a bit. So do the Bills still move up if this actually happens? I'm sure they'll play it buy ear on draft day. No trades before draft day.  None of these QB's is perfect. I've said all along they all have warts. No one can say for certain any of these QB's will be a sure thing. So if the Bills do get Allen...I wouldn't be disappointed, I'll respect the process and hope it all pans out.

I bought a binocular harness for my Canon, just like the link below. It's comfortable when hiking, keeps it close to you body, it's not swinging all over the place like a shoulder strap, and it's right there when you see something you want to get a picture of...

It was about $20 when I bought mine several years ago. I started looking at camera harness's, only to find that because the description said "camera", places were charging an extra $20-$30, for the same product.

LoL... Always stayed left of center with Pentax/Olympus.  Eskimos don't buy refrigerator mentality.  Canon seemed too mainstream.  Nikon, pricey... Maybe would have started out with a Nikkor collection.

I tend to do that w/ as well, in most things I buy. I was never a Canon guy, and yes Nikon was too pricey for my needs / desires at the time (bought camera to get action shots of my daughter playing volleyball).

True... But nice having the big kit as a tool in one's personal aresenal is a pleasure, asset.

I am kinda the opposite, I never jumped into the bigger body since the film days. Full frame was just too expensive.

Now after 15 or so years, digital has shaken out and truly won (who didn't think it wouldn't).  I have no problem investing in a full frame body now and utilizing my lens from 30-40 years ago.  It's become a hobby again.  I am glad Pentax didn't away.  I guess these were the years I was waiting for. I think I may even scour E-Bay, etc... For old optics, to see how they coupl with the digital era.

It's... Still about quantity and portability now, like posting pictures, etc... But being older, more time to "smell the roses", got more ambition (and disk space) to carry around the tank and know that you have the quality back... Not just the quantity.

Again, totally agree with you... There is still a time and place.

Do you compress them right on the commuter?

Nice being able to zoom in on an attachment.  I don't want to have to "follow somebody"... Things like Instagram, FB, Twitter, just too gratuitous... They are gleaning your info, ads, etc...

I need to dig mine out. I have an Olympus, which I preferred as it was a tad smaller than other cameras. Finding lenses though was a bit of a hassle due to their 4/3 system. Even on EBay or other sites, they were still pricey due to their (for a lack of a better word at the moment)...uniqueness.  When I'm out and about, I take my time....always looking for new angles to shoot on stale trails to some new material. Hobbies that go hand in hand...hiking / photography.

I just had a thought that might have had me banished for a healthy while.

I’ll go back to wishing I could get my nature photos down to size so I could post.

I’ve gotten to where I find it hard to justify carrying around the camera gear. I love playing with the big camera, but who wants to drag around a slide rule the size of a microwave?

I too have a DSLR around somewhere...no desire to look for it or use it at the moment. When I go hiking, my phone fits into my pocket. It's easy. I see people on the trails w/ cameras draped around their necks and it doesn't look comfortable. Of course I'm limited on what I can shoot, so I have to be creative. Makes for better photos if you ask me. I can't shrink mine down either (at work, limited on what I can do or care to do at the moment).

All I ever shoot now is w/ my cell phone camera...come up w/ great pix (my opinion). Don't really have any saved here on my work computer...but my old Samsung S8 was a fun phone to shoot with..just upgraded to so S9, haven't really had an opportunity to use it yet.
