  1. Actually he did horribly in the cone and the 10-yard split. Is google really that tough to use? Why does he remind me of a defensive Jerry Crafts?? Eh, who am I kidding, I'd totally draft him in the second round.
  2. Actually, this was my biggest concern of them all. Forget dashing any amount of yards. He's got to have a decent first step at least, or he's just going to get pushed around.
  3. The important thing is, can he jump out of a pool?
  4. Jake Long has quite long arms actually, almost 36". Joe Thomas has average arm length of 33.75". Bulaga's arms are apparently too short to masturbate with. http://www.profootballweekly.com/2009/04/1...ate-olt-success
  5. I wasn't trying to attack your point, just making a few on my own. I think Ferguson was re-signed just because of the short supply of legit NT's in the league. I don't know what the contract terms were, but I'm sure they weren't prohibitive - if they find an answer at NT he will easily be benched (if he finds his way back into the rotation after missing eight games).
  6. More importantly, how did his 10 and 20 yard splits go?
  7. Unfortunately, Tebow would be on that list (hopefully not, though). Brandon Graham? Sergio Kindle? Earl Thomas? Joe Haden? I dunno... Ewwwww.
  8. Anything having to do with the Heisman is largely irrelevant. And he doesn't have enough stats to really go on, but the guy is barely 6'0" (I know, I know, Brees is the same size - but he's the exception, not the rule). I'm all for giving him a shot with a fifth or sixth round pick, but I wouldn't be expecting much. I would much rather trade for Colt Brennan given the opportunity.
  9. That's a pretty good point, actually, especially with the signing of Davis at ILB (and the fact that Mitchell's too slow to play OLB in a 3-4 IMO). It seems like we're more or less set at ILB. We literally have a dearth of talent at OLB though. Everyone keeps crying for Maybin to excel - has anyone ever seen him in coverage? Ten to one says he busts.
  10. To be fair, it was only a Keystone Light...
  11. ahhh !@#$, I just missed it...
  12. Wait, can I be Oakland?? Pretending to be Al Davis would be AWESOME...
  13. We only get seven choices??
  14. That's when I took a full beer and threw it as hard as I could at my living room wall...
  15. Just reading this made me tired. And I'm still in bed. When was the last time Jason Furgueson was elite? 2007? It should be noted that the Jets got there without Jenkins - he was put on IR mid-season. One of these days you'll learn how to spell "defense." True, but there are a few more 280-290 lb. athletes lying around than the 340-350 lb. ones. They are the scarce resource.
  16. Marc Bulger - one of the toughest guys to play the position - hasn't been relevant in years. 17. Well, at least you're consistent...
  18. ...to bad he can't throw.
  19. Could be worse for Eli. He could be Cooper: http://www.businessweek.com/news/2010-01-2...o-brothers.html Beat me to it. Boss Bailey had a 45" vertical leap as a LB. What a freak.
  20. That's horrible logic. If you think he even has a slight chance at being a superstar you draft him #9 overall...even though it's more or less guaranteed that he'll be available, at a minimum, 15 picks later? Keep concentrating on that CFL Championship of yours... Just like all the other "rumors" Insider has to offer, it's "all hat and no cattle."
  21. I like it. Don't know much about Roger Saffold though. And it still leaves us with a dearth of talent at NT. Do we go after a Clifton Ryan from St. Louis, or *gasp* Hollis Thomas from...who the hell knows where he is now?
  22. Thanks for the insight.
  23. Agreed. Too bad he can't throw, otherwise he'd make a great quarterback in this league.
  24. Take a breather, dude. I'm in agreement with you. Intangibles are important. But so is throwing a skinny post, or a deep out on the opposite side of the field, or reading man vs. zone coverage. I don't think Tebow has it. I bet he'll see the field for some team one year and make some flashy plays like Kordell Stewart, but I don't see him being a franchise quarterback.
