  1. good stuff but the format makes it hard to follow...
  2. Thats awesome... Sorry JP but you're as useless as an a**hole on your elbow.
  3. On the bright side, just think about how much there will be to discuss next year w/ the #1 pick!
  4. anyone else feel like Charlie Brown?
  5. I think that your point is valid but isn't it the responsibility of the FO to sell the region, the franchise and the history behind both of them? This is a proud franchise with an amazing history and a loyal fanbase that has been enduring a very long drought in hopes that someone will come here and help us get back to where we once were... Buffalo bleeds for the Bills, all OBD needs is someone who can make prospective FAs see that. Miami is a city of bandwagon a-holes who went to the beach when their team went 1-15 and showed up again when their coach used the wildcat to win games... those aren't fans. --Fans in Buffalo cheer in subzero weather if you go 3-13 or 13-3 The Jets play second fiddle to the Giants and everyone in NY (or should I say NJ) knows that. --Be a superstar in Buffalo or a name that no one knows in NYC. The Pats have newer facilities and have had more recent success but if you're interested in resurrecting a franchise and being a legend (not just a person not named Brady) then you'd go to Buffalo.
  6. well look at nostradamus over here...
  7. Thank god you're not the GM-- Do you know anything about cap penalties? Look, if they can sign Greer, then do it. If not, oh well... just don't pay him like the Raiders just paid Asomugha... same w/ Crowell. But I'd rather see them make a serious offer to Haynesworth and let both of them go elsewhere. That said, you can't sign all three. We can't just cut a bunch of people and sign all of the free agents out there.
  8. Why not? Where else could he make the kind of impact he can make in Buffalo? Obviously we need to pay for him but if we offer him enough money, we've got as good a chance as anyone.
  9. Bye... Go get Haynesworth.
  10. You know how I know you're gay? You carry a pocketbook.
  11. The Broncos have similar struggles to the Bills. They have absolutely NO pass rush and I don't care who your corner is, if an NFL QB has a lot of time he'll shred any corner in the league. The Broncos cut Bly to release some cap room because they're completely restructuring their defense into a 3-4 scheme. The Broncos decided, like Buffalo should, that they can survive with Bailey as their only superstar corner if they can get a pass rush... that said, either sign Greer and trade McGee or just say good-bye to Greer.
  12. The Bills starting 4-0 next year is about as likely as JP making the HOF. That said, yes, Lynch would get his job back because it would be the wrong thing to do... and this organization loves setting the example for what NOT to do.
  13. I totally agree that Lynch is a better talent but I'm just tired of bad news from Bills camp and I'm not convinced that he is more talent than headache. I long for the day when this organization isn't run by losers and accepting Lynch's behavior wont help anything.
  14. Its hard not to slam Lynch right now... Nothing is going right with this team and this is yet another example. Fortunately we do have Jackson and personally I hope the team pays him and keeps him happy because not only should he be the starting runningback but based off of what I saw the last couple weeks of the season he's the only player on the roster with any heart at all... If Lynch wants to be a thug in Cali let him play for the Raiders.
  15. dude, you are a straight up gutterball...
  16. So do you propose that we draft a TE or sign on in FA? LJ Smith, Owen Daniels and Leonard Pope are all available... If we could sign someone like Pope we could go after DE in the first round... sounds good to me.
  17. It's all the same... we give the ball to Young and he runs around for a while, eventually resulting in a 3 & Out or we give the ball to Trent and he checks down three straight times, eventually resulting in a 3 & Out...
  18. Am I delusional to think that we could make a strong push for Birk? Having that kind of anchor on our O-Line would make Trent's life much easier and might make our WR problem seem less pressing...
  19. So lets say that he is cut and that he IS the premier option in FA at QB (with Leftwich and Garcia), how many teams are there with pressing needs at QB and what would his market value be? If Buffalo persued any of these guys they would be overpaying for a backup... why not bring in someone like Batch who's a smart guy, who's been a part of a winning organization and who would be a capable backup as well (not to mention affordable)? No need to waste money on a person who isnt going to be an upgrade.
  20. It worked with Mitchell and Stroud... both of those guys are NASTY in Madden.
