  1. You think the Bears fans would be pissed to get Caleb Williams over Justin Fields?
  2. Atlanta for sure, assuming Cousins is fully formed. Baltimore doubling down on the best running game in the league doesn't move the needle for them. At some point, they need to rely on Lamar as a throwing QB in the playoffs. He's awful that time of year.
  3. True. Chicago's 1st round QB disasters seem to find their way to Pittsburgh for a brief time...or two.
  4. Wilson is better than anyone the Steelers had last year, which goes without saying. So the benefit of the move is intuitive. but… If he busts, and the fans then have to suffer while the Steelers figure out why the Bears dumped Fields, well then it was a predictable error. In summary, based on what we have seen of them, the possibility that Wilson plays well is higher than the likelihood that Fields will be a much better replacement.
  5. It’s all just flailing. i think Wilson will surprise. If he doesn’t, bringing in Fields to resurrect the moribund QB position in Pittsburgh is as bad a decision as it was in Chicago In the 30 years since Kelly retired? When did Ben retire?
  6. if you’re “consistently trying to find an answer” at QB…..that’s not really “trying” very well
  7. The degrees of terrible—that’s a hair I can’t split
  8. lol Steelers. their QB room since Big Ben left…..
  9. Barkley more qualified than Peterman? They are both terrible. Barkley was only brought in (twice) because he's a "nice guy" to Josh Allen.
  10. (Beane reaching for the pile of one year WR FA contracts)
  11. prepare his cup of coffee, Buffalo....
  12. Oh you mean like Matt Barkley?
  13. lol there you go. Anyway...Davis's dropped 3 balls for a drop rate of 3.7 this season--easily his lowest. Diggs had 5 for a drop rate of 5%. INT's? Allen has thrown 47 of them in the past 3 seasons (4 on target to Diggs this year).....but Davis was the problem? God love him but Josh had a LOT of communication problems it seemed this year....Davis was on the "receiving" end of a lot of them.
  14. He can ball?
  15. Pickett was a guy like Penix......
  16. His agent puts Cousins's to shame
  17. the narrative was not mine, and I quoted it for you. it's quite a list....in fact (and obviously) it describes a perfect WR, which may not exist.
  18. come on...how much effort did you put into this take? #'s drop? He had essentially the same targets he has had every year with the Bills. A big chunk of his yards came in the first 6 weeks. Then, despite tons of targets the resto f the season, he couldn't produce. Josh's fault for the drops? that's pretty funny.
  19. "big WR who can block, get deep, win contested throws, catch the ball in clutch moments, and block downfield" you first listed a bunch of WR1s (except Higgins, Watson...). A fraction of those guys might do everything/fit all criteria on the poster's wish list. a good number of them aren't over 6 feet tall, for starters. The second group has several depth guys. less likely to check all those boxes
  20. see above lol everyone wants that. How many teams have it?
  21. OK so MVS is not a good weapon--solidifies my point (Mahomes hasn't been lavished with weapons in KC) Hardman was a solid pick while he was in KC.
