  1. this poor kid. he's gotta know everyone was hoping the Bills would move up and get someone else.
  2. Oh, THIS is going to do it? lol
  3. Most won't make the roster
  4. No one is smarter than Beane!! STOP SAYING THAT!!!!
  5. "I had 10 picks---how was I supposed to focus on WR??"
  6. although Diggs's quitting on the Bills was predictable, he's not the reason the Bill's roster going into this draft had one Beane WR (career under 700 yards) to show for his career as GM.... Beane is the one who gave the emotionally labile Diggs that contract. So Beane "screwed the cap" on that one. Beane has abused the WR position in the draft for years. keep drafting deep depth on D!!!!!--works on the Dolphins, comes up short v the Chiefs...
  7. The parade of bum WR FAs signed begins its perennial march through the Bills locker room!! One year contract before retires/IR/suspension.
  8. He will sign a 2 year contract..
  9. Based on....what? You can't point to anything to support your personal concern. 93 of the top 100 broadcasts in 2023 were NFL games. 3 were college games. 1 was the Thanksgiving Day parade. No doubt the Friday draft ratings will dwarf all NBA/NHL playoffs game ratings---just one round of then draft. Was it really that long ago that countless posts on this very board were predicting the downfall of the NFL because of concerns over CTE? Or that wealthy (I'm assuming they meant white) kids would just stop playing football and the talent pool would dry up? Also, in week 17 (game 16), there were 6 backup QBs subbing for injured QBs---all of whom were injured weeks to months before game 16. I get your personal opinion on this, but your predictions aren't based on facts.
  10. Beane should be commish of an upstart league with rosters comprised of only NFL 5th, 6th, 7th rounders...
  11. how long have we been hearing that? They went to 17 and the game is more popular than ever. Every major sports league exists to provide entertainment and make as much money as possible--why should the one that does it far better than any other league be singles out? Name any business that has ever said "ok we've made enough money, let's not try to make any more. we're good"? Players are clearly on board with more money--why should you be concerned with their health if they aren't? They are the ones assuming the risks with full understanding of the risks/benefits/alternatives. As for the "fan experience"--the ratings speak for themselves. Fans simply cannot get enough of the NFL. These "the NFL is ruining itself with greed" post never made any sense---any and all evidence proves it's false. You know that you are going to watch 18, 20 regular season games. No one is going to stop watching during the season. Why pretend otherwise? Give me all the NFL...
  12. That happens regardless of the length of the season...
  13. how so? say what? boxing is only for the very poor? wealthy star athletic kids will not want to play in the NFL some day.....because of "health dangers"? you think this is something they have not already considered?
  14. yeah, maybe he’ll trade back into the first round ….
  15. atta boy
  16. are you under duress?? who made you right this? blink S-O-S if you are in danger
  17. then he must be the best ever, having been fired 4 times another great point!
  18. hes been fired by several teams
  19. Draftkings is enjoying massive revenue increases. The expect $410 to 510 million EBITDA on revenues of 4.9 billion next year. Fanduel is expecting $635 to $785 billion earnings next year
  20. I'm here for the fresh should we move up/draft takes!!
  21. There have been teams with minority share owners for a while yes (Miami, for example). More famously the Commanders now. But outside of family members sharing ownership, partner owners in the NFL are still the exception by a wide margin.
