And clearly Rodgers has fallen into that category the past few years and quite possibly in years to come. They have been paying him tons to get to the SB--crippling the cap along the way. I'm not comparing Cousins to Rodgers----except with this very specific metric you have offered (as a way of criticizing paying Cousins).

In fact, "consecutive season NFL MVP and Leader of the Year has a grand total or 1 more playoff win than Cousins in the past 3 seasons. What are they paying Rodgers for?
