  1. They cut Jaquon Johnson after that?
  2. Bills are a competent game day crunch time coaching staff away from a Lombardi, not some big FA signing away.
  3. That's not the premise of the article that the OP posted. Nor is there "selective outrage" in the post--or maybe I missed it? Anyway, I pointed out that the Yankees had a huge federal subsidy--but that is not the topic of this article or this thread. The article clearly states in the beginning that the State and the County are providing 1 billion (reportedly), not the federal government. That's literally the subject of the article--that it would easily be the biggest NY state and local funding of a stadium. If NYS/Erie were to offer instead, say 450- 500 million, there would be no article...and less public "outrage".
  4. SB bound teams don't blame a blocked punt in week 1 (where a crappy Steelers Offense scored 10 other points in the 4th Q and the Bills couldn't covert a 4th and 1 on the Steelers 41) on their inability to lock up home field advantage.
  5. I can't tell if this is a 13 seconds thread or a dome thread...
  6. He smells like a Code Brown now...
  7. It's no Cleveland Plain Dealer...true. For the County it's a useless asset outside of its single tenant's rent. Plus the County will be on the hook for all cost overruns and overhead/maintenance, etc. People are confusing "tax breaks" from federally funded exempt municipal bonds with "state money" handed out for stadiums. These are mostly federal "costs" in the form of lost tax revenue. Barkley Center got $100 million each from the City and the State. Yankee stadium was funded with 900+million in tax exempt bonds issued by the City Of New York. The "public" also kicked in 300 million for infrastructure and to build a park where the old stadium stood. Thank you for your comments.
  8. I expect a "Max Borghi" fresh update thread every 15 minutes!!!
  9. The fixation on a punter on a team with a top D and top 3 O is mystifying.
  10. Pete Carrol should pose as a young sports massage therapist… If he plays it right, might save him one of those 1srs

  12. yeah the “rich guy gets off” and “ Monet talks” are really lazy takes here
  13. how so? It was a grand jury. Only the public and public employees were present. no money involved
  14. It's easier to do when you don't have a franchise QB to pay for...
  15. Colts got more for trading Wentz than Bears got for contract dumping Mack.
  16. A LB who's has MADE (2) PRO BOWL who is still really young (basically still a rookie) for when he was drafted but hasn't yet cashed it in on the field? Hmmmmm.....
  17. I don't think this escaped McD and Beane's notice either. He wasn't tearing it up in Chicago. Mack is a local legend. That's about it.
  18. Wow, they essentially left him at the curb…
  19. If it’s a full release, specify if it’s a team owner..
  20. The XFL is slated to return in February 2023. Under the partnership, the XFL will function as a sort of "petri dish" for the NFL to experiment with, XFL president Russ Brandon said to ESPN's Kevin Seifert. We shall see how much of a rules test this is. I can't find many details.
  21. This is why Rodgers has no weapons. wut
