  1. Don’t want to read the whole thread? Do it the traditional way: just start another thread about the exact same topic!
  2. Bass's rookie results point towards Bojo (other than in the early part of the season--this could have been on Bass as well) not struggling to consistently do. That combo was killing big kicks for the majority of the season, right off the bus... There were a few laces in seen in GB, but clearly Crosby had the yips in that game. With the same holder, in the previous season, a rookie K made 6 FG in a single game. I don't see a lot of the GB FO saying they got rid of Bojo because he can't hold....
  3. The who? Anyway, it's not about having extra money around this year, it's about what is the best use of public money.
  4. Who's trading down in the 1st for Edmunds and Moss?
  5. As a rookie, Bass broke the Bills scoring record with 141 points. He also broke the record of made FG in a game. He made 82.4% of his FG and 97% of his PATs. His holder was Bojo. After Bass made 6 FG in the Jets game, the combo of Bass/Bojo would miss only 1 FG the rest of the season (a 61 yarder). Without Bojo, Bass made the same number of FG with 2 less attempts (87.5%) and all of his PAT. Bojo certainly wasn't "holding" Bass back, but people here sure cling to that narrative.
  6. Bills should bring him back
  7. Can he be paid that much on PS? I thought they instituted a max salary 2 years ago
  8. weirdest bumped thread of the year...
  9. True, but It's still not new money. It doesn't add anything re: stadium costs. NYS/Erie have simply added a new expense they have to cover with the same revenue (from the team anyway). If someone other than Pegula had bought the team in 2014, they would have been personally on the hook for billions in new stadium costs in LA, for instance. Likely Toronto as well.
  10. What he said. Bills players have been paying state taxes since they have been the Buffalo Bills. How would this money now be considered "new"?
  11. I was kidding a bit, but clearly Beane and McD felt that those 2 guys were far from "cooked" when they brought them in. I mean even Davis knew he was done...
  12. He had 1 more target in 2020 than 2019 but almost 200 more yards.
  13. going with the trend
  14. Yup, If Pegula doesn't repay it the other owners eat it.
  15. To continue in the great tradition of Vontae Davis and Josh Norman. ...and it IS an even year!!
  16. lol “forward”. he’s never close to 4000 yards.
  17. This is one QB you don’t blowout your budget on unless he has another monster year—-or at least can get to 3500-4000 passing. They won’t pay him going coward to rush for 1000 a year.
  18. That's rewarded with $50 million a year in GB.
  19. Hey I'm that guy too! No one cared until the Bills choked twice in the end of one game...forced out of the playoffs for the second time in a row by the same teams. The Bills "still" could have won in OT if the D put up even a small amount of fight.
  20. This was true before the rule change.
  21. See below. No one cares who started over who in college (OSU started JT Barrett and Dwayne Haskins Joey Balls) or where they were drafted (not sure what point you're making there). JJ averaging 1500+ for first 2 years. No player in history has done that. Chase put up monster numbers this past season by any measure. Not sure what you would consider "monster" for nest year. Obviously neither is a poor choice...
  22. Who knows? But you can't make a serious argument by beginning with "OK so forget about the Defenses....", which that guy is trying to do (in a playoff game, no less). It's nuts.
  23. we can all quibble about rules but the rule didn’t change right before that game and the rule didn’t force the game into OT nor did the rule ensure the OT outcome. The Bills were in control of their fate on every down. Simple as that
  24. he hasn't done it twice yet..
  25. Did "Buffalo Bills" ever make sense? It was picked in an essay contest
