  1. This has been repeated by many and it is a very weak argument. RJ was awful that day (so was McNair--the worst 2 QB performances in a playoff game I have ever seen). He completed 10 passes (of 22) for 130 and took 6 sacks and fumbled 3 times! First half: punt, sack/fumble (missed Del Greco FG), punt, sack/fumble/safety, punt, punt, punt. He completed 5 passes---only 1 in the entire 2nd Q. His incredibly bad play in that half is why the Bills were stuck playing catchup in the 4th. McNair was so bad that any decent QB could have put the Bills comfortably ahead in the 1st half.
  2. they can decide what their own “punishment” will be so it’s not really a problem for them
  3. Maybe you are thinking of a different Rob Johnson? The one who played for the Bills had 4 in his career—same number as Trent Edwards and half as many as…Doug Flutie
  4. Owners don’t want anyone checking out their dirty laundry. The money they are making with zero effort is just too insanely large that they don’t really care. They have all known about Snyder running a gross organization for decades. They did nothing. Maybe now that he skimmed a few bucks off their take they might suddenly pretend to be indignant. Who knows.
  5. he list his staring job after he was injured falling on a football. there were no Rob Johnson “buttons” except “OFF”
  6. Do you think that might result from the fact that "The NFL" is the owners? Just kind of spitballing here...
  7. Mayfield threw for 3725 yards (#8 all time) and 27 TDs (#2 all time) in 13 starts his rookie season. Was PFWA Rookie of the Year. 2 years later, he brought the Browns to their 1st playoff game in 18 years. 11-5 with 26 TD on only 8 ints. Was injured last year. Voted by his peers as NFL top 100 players in 2019 (50) and 2020 (71). Took Josh 3 seasons t get over 3100 yards per. Both with 59/60 starts, 14k yards, JA with 10 more TD. Josh is obviously the better player, but Mayfield came off the bus ready to play. He is part of an organization run by idiots. Not sure Carolina will do much for him (Cleveland may have permanently damaged him)--just a different group of idiots down there.
  8. I fully expected to read that the bump of this thread was that the Bills signed him to a one year contract.
  9. If he gets into the HOF based on his one on one with that bus, I bet we'll be hearing from a certain former Bills DE about it......
  10. lots of guesses in this other thread.....
  11. yeah but that's his whole career--a snapshot for the other guys...
  12. He played a lot more games and got to 14,000 yards. Sharpe didn't play long enough.
  13. IT's all about the yards for WR. A guy in his era with under 9000 won't get him in. 7 year career hurts him too. e wasn't the Barry Sanders of WR..
  14. "Tony Boselli kicked Bruce Smith’s ass. Tony never talks about that game, just did his job, as usual. Even seems embarrassed when asked about it. He’s one of the best LTs ever. Whether Bruce likes it or not. Truly deserves HOF. That is all. Have a good day."
  15. If she's still at that hospital, possibly a stroke admit to ICU for tPA. If she's still in the ICU after full administration, it may be that she's intubated, unfortunately.
  16. Maddy Glab never finished broadcast journalism school...
  17. take your frightened Bills taint out of here...
  18. where is he getting that Boselli only got into the HOF because of one game vs Bruce Smith?
  19. I don't know about that. “Resorting to underhanded tactics, like targeting a HOFer and hyping a one game matchup to bolster a nominee’s merit" "Tony’s advocates have slid headlong down this slippery slope and dragged me unwillingly along" Then, with absolutely no indication he understands irony: "It also invites otherwise unnecessary commentary and scrutiny around that candidate’s worthiness of becoming a member of the HOF." You mean...from guys like Bruce Smith?? lol. That's gold! Maybe this is the best part: “The HOF is an exclusive fraternity that follows a tacit code of conduct which fosters respect and brotherhood between its members." "So I'm writing to take a huge dump on another guy's enshrinement as part of this strict code of conduct" LOL WTF? He's out of his mind starting a beef about another guy who got into the HOF. Who does this?
  20. lol...say what?? Look at the mess they made just at QB the past 2 years. 2020: Cut Newton, bring in Bridgewater: $31 million paid for the year 2021: trade Bridgewater, trade a 2nd for Darnold, AND pick up his option for 2022: $24 million committed 2021: IR Darnold, sign..........Cam Newton!!: $4.5+1.5 mil roster bonus, $6million so, 25 games after they dumped him, it has cost this franchise over $60 million ($2.6 million per passing TD) and this year's 2nd round pick, to end up with Newton as their starter again. Then benched him after 1 complete game for.....PJ ("who am I ??") Walker! Plus the trillion dollars they gave McCaffrey. Solid organization!
