  1. Was it even a year ago that TBD was measuring Brown for that gold jacket?? Ah....time does fly.
  2. I can't imagine Beane would risk 2 year money on this guy.
  3. Considering their QB died in September, yes—it is impressive
  4. They would have to, which is why they are stuck with him. If they cut him for skill or cap reasons, he still gets his money. "There are three separate kinds of guaranteed money When utilized, the full guarantee of a contract consists of a combination of skill, cap, and injury guarantees, rolled into one deal. The skill guarantee is unique in the sense that it's meant to protect a player from losing his wages if he were released. In this case, a player would receive guaranteed money if losing a roster spot was due to the declining of his skills in relation to his position. For example, a veteran place kicker who's gradually missing more and more kick attempts loses his job to a more accurate kicker, but will still be paid his full salary, after he's cut from the team. The cap guarantee will ensure a player is paid in the event he is released for salary cap reasons. The most common situation here is when a team releases players to free up cap space, to be used in signing new players. This, like the skill guarantee, would promise a player's full salary should he be released." Why would he, after signing the contract, negotiate away any money--as they are cutting him??
  5. 190 million is owed Murray.
  6. well these are the very implications that make him untradeable. Bidwell isn't going to swallow that hit--certainly not because his next HC says so.
  7. He just signed a 5 year deal for 230 million--190 million guaranteed. His dead cap next year in 100 million. You think the Cards are going to eat that?
  8. How can they get rid of Murray? He's untradeable.
  9. That's not what happened in the Jets game, so...no "precident" there. But if a receiver drops a well placed but very well defended pass....well that's how it goes sometimes. You said he was responsible for the loss, then you said he wasn't. Then you said one would have to be completely satisfied with his every single play to disagree with the OP. Now you are saying that "people are claiming he is perfectly fine". Your argument is a mess, to put it kindly.
  10. Nah. He had 2 catches (52 yards mostly on 1 catch) 1 TD in 2 Qs of play. That game was always going to be the Kupp Show.
  11. The pilot doesn't return to the gate because of the actions of a "diva flight attendant". If you are "sleeping on a plane", they wake you up, say "sir, can you put on your seatbelt please?"....and that's it.
  12. He's awful. He has to go.
  13. You already said Davis was "responsible" for "33%" of the Bills losses. Now your tossing that one out? Smart move. Should have led wit that. Anyway, go back and watch Gardner's coverage on that last pass and tell me how easy a catch that should have been. No fan is completely happy with every play of any player. This is now your argument?
  14. Bills tossed him to the curb. It wasn’t an accident
  15. You're pinning the JETS loss on Davis? Let's unpack that a bit. Near the end of the 3rd, Gardner picks off Josh, leading to a TD 80 seconds later and giving the jets the lead. Now it's the 4th Q. Bills punt and the Jets just gash the D on a 12 play (7 1st downs.. 10 runs!), 6 minute drive to kick a FG and take the lead. Fast forward to late 4th Q, Bills down by 3. It's 1st and 20 from their own 15 after a zero gain catch by Diggs (ZERO yards 4th Q on 4 targets) and a hold by Dawkins. Next, Josh hits Davis for a circus catch on the sideline (aided by poor officiating). 2nd and 2....and Josh gives up the stripe sack fumble---recovered after a loss of 19 yards. Now it's 3rd and 21, Josh misses Diggs. 4th and 21 from their 14, no TO left, Josh heaves it and Gardner is smothering/faceshielding/pawing Davis. Incomplete. Yeah, Davis "caused the Bills to lose" to the (former) NY Zach Wilsons. Keep it coming....
  16. You listed one game. I described all 3 losses
  17. Nah, the OP is right. He hurts the team badly? In his last 4 games, Josh has thrown 4 TDs and 5 ints. In the 3 losses, he has 3 TDs and 4 ints (including the game ending v. ViIkings). For the season 23 TDs but 11INTs (most in the league). If you want to talk about the player, when he's "bad" it "hurts the team badly", better start there...
  18. He has 6, tied for most with Higbee and Kelce. Look, we all get that his drops are up this year. Throw him more balls and he'll get even better. He's consistently improving. His numbers are solid #2 WR.
  19. Open your eyes man!!!
  20. This is getting out of hand. Gabe is 18th in total yards, 2nd in YPC. Of his 33 catches, 25 were 1st downs, 5 were TDs. He'll get better with more targets. In the past 3 games he's had 22 targets and his catch % is 68.
  21. the Bills are winning without him
  22. lol. he's been in a lot of them he brings snacks...or what?
  23. Maybe from the same source that claims "Josh is more comfortable with Smoke"...
  24. They won the last 2 games without him.
