  1. you think he was sitting as Bills QB #3 in camp with pocket offers as a #2 for multiple teams? He was projected as a cut in July. If he had such offers ready and waiting, he would have signed with one of them on the 30th as soon as he was cut. Simple.
  2. well, it's a fact that no one has told you this in this thread. Maybe you should finally abandon the use of that word--it's not serving you well here. anyway, just link the Bills internal poll that shows the majority of STHs prefer the dome.
  3. There's no doubt he's happy to be here. But I don't believe any NFL would turn down "multiple offers" to be on a roster as backup QB (all that came in one night, no less), and instead choose to be on his 4th PS in 12 months.
  4. I'm assuming he's stretching the truth if he's claiming he got multiple active roster offers in the fraction of a day between his release and resigning. He hasn't been on one in 2 years--last year he was on 3 different practice squads. Does his claim make any sense to you? What QB would pass up the money and a chance to play during the season.... to hang out in the Bills QB room and locker room? Come on...
  5. He's already been with 9 teams (2 of them twice) in the NFL. Bills cut Barkley 8/30 and resigned him 8/31....I can't imagine offers were pouring in overnight.
  6. Those are essentially Singletary's numbers (11 and 3.4). You think Cook should be getting more than Singletary?
  7. " if Barkley had signed to another team’s active roster, he would have earned a salary of at least $1.12 million, which is the minimum for a player with at least seven years of experience. But Barkley bounced around last season from Tennessee to Carolina to Atlanta" The offers were not likely forthcoming...
  8. OP meant "it was too good not to start another thread"
  9. he'll be 175lbs in 6 months
  10. This and it's not close. This thread is nuts.
  11. So...STH'ers prefer the dome in all polls, but they also are the "most likely open-air proponents"? Also, you keep telling us what the Bills own polling study says ("the majority wanted a dome")---can you just link it to us so we can read the results ourselves?
  12. How is it that the new ownership hasn't fired that notorious moron Elway?
  13. yet in the same sentence you conclude that the majority of STH's want a dome. Thi makes no sense. So the Bills said that the response to a dome was "not overwhelming", and "did not say the poll showed a majority of the fans wanted a dome"----and you conclude that this means the poll showed the majority want dome??
  14. link? and why would the Bills bother polling in a dome? They had no union making that happen
  15. A tiny fraction of the "whole fandom kingdom of Bills fans" will ever set foot in their stadium in any given year. Polling them "all" isn't meaningful. Maybe if you limit it to season ticket holders, you might be able to cobble together some sort of argument that makes sense.
  16. Doesn't have to right now. If you mean if Singletary is gone next year, they will sign someone else I bet. Singletary is a situational back. He can't be used as a traditional feature back.
  17. Wait, it doesn't say he got the "child raper" in that video?? I was told here there was an abuser he was hot on the trail of and that this video shows Willie's administering the coup de grace on that bad man... I'm blown away...
  18. Hines has amassed -0.5 yards rushing and 53 yards receiving. He's a nonentity in this Offense after 8 games. He's not a #2. What is considered a "bell cow"? Singletary has about 11 carries a game on average, This year, he's had zero games with over 20 carries, 2 over 15 and and 6 games under 10. He is having his best year. He already has 800 yards after 15 games. He is averaging a whopping 17.7 YPC and has 7 TDs. 40 of his 45 catches were for 1st downs or TDs. He has more catches in the last 3 games than Diggs.
  19. "Really good teams often advance deep into the playoffs." Then what?
  20. reread my posts. not disparaging him. He's what we have. Jacobs is a better RB. That's all. I agree. Was disagreeing with another poster that he's not a top RB. He clearly in in today's NFL.
  21. Glazer’s latest “scoop”..lol
  22. Because he’s a feature back. You know, he runs all game. Singletary is a situational back. 11 carries a game type. Anyway. I wasn’t agreeing the Bills should obtain him so your argument is moot. I was responding to the the claim he isn’t a top RB. He obviously is. You would take him straight up trade for Singletary right now and no one here would be moaning over the running game to help Josh see above
  23. productivity is measured over a season. In 4 years Jacobs has has one season under 1000. Singletary, even with 2 17 game seasons is unlucky to get his first over 1000
