Do we get Jamison Crowder back this season?
Mr. WEO replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall
lol the Bills Offense is "meh"---so lets have a broken down, injured Crowder at the tail end of his career come out of the whirlpool tub to toss his 1-2 catches a game into the ring! He can room with "Smokey" Brown!! And Bengals with "Brandon" Allen "could thrive"? lol come on! Eagles lost their only game without Hurts. Is Minshew gonna run for those 13 TDs? These takes could melt the sun!! -

Also, Bengals are #7 against the run. The Bills are the 7th best run team---mainly because of Josh Allen's 750 yards (35% of their total). -

I have no idea what Simms said. I wasn’t commenting on that. -

a healthy Bills Oline has been mediocre. Josh averages 50 yards rushing so your analysis isn’t really going out on a limb to refute Simms -
but but, it’s not about catch %, right? yeah anyway…how many more big yard catches will he have? Hmmm, well his career average is 17 YPC so, probably more to come.

Do we get Jamison Crowder back this season?
Mr. WEO replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall
"last year" isn't "earlier in the year". Tell us how Crowder was better "earlier in the year" (4 games, 6 of 13, or 46%, catches for 60 yards)--be specific. I'll help you by pointing out that McKenzie caught 15 passes for 153 yards in those same 4 games. While you're working on that, tell us how Crowder, on IR, in addition to "earlier in the year", is "still better" than McKenzie. -

why would he need motivation? and why would this provide it? you've been doing football analytics for over 60 years? -

Finally! -
Yes, he's getting more starts and therefore more targets and more catches and therefore more yards.....see how this works? You brought that others have better % than Davis on the Bills. Adams with his new team/bad QB is their #3 in catch %. I didn't bring up catch %, but I have been responding to it. Now you're complaining about his YPT "only" going up .4? The guy is #9 among all WR in the NFL right now! But, say, since he's not #8, then "he's not getting better"? That's very persuasive proof! And throw in the fact that he "only" increased his YPC ( #2 in the NFL) by a paltry 1.3 over the previous 2 years combined----now you really got me!! Guy's going nowhere! you win!

even worse. Crowder was a dud last year with the jets. Looking for Crowder to come in for his 1.2 catches per game-that’s WHEN he’s able to answer the bell cone on -

lol posters dumping on McKenzie while pining for a bum like Crowder. He was a total zero in this Offense before he was injured (yet again). This place is nuts -
Adams's catch rate is 55%---the lowest on his team among starters. Cooper this year has more yards than last year with the Cowboys. A better YPC. Still poor catch %. Comparing RBs to WRs makes no sense at all. RBs get dump off passes with typically zero coverage. 6 of the top 10 and 14 of the top 20 in catch % are RBs. He's having his best season. He has 800 yards and 7 TDs. He has more yards and as many catches in the last 3 games as the Bills WR1. He is getting better. His yardage, total catches, YPC, YPG, YPT are all up from last year. To say his stock has gone down this year isn't a fact based assessment.

Vikings have a terrible Defense, yet they are 12-3. Carr stinks.
-
better than what Fields has? Darnell Mooney had over 1000 yards last season (in 3 games with Dalton, he had 121, 123, 126 yards). this year: 493 in 11 games. Cole Cmet is having as good a year as Knox. Claypool got almost 900 yards last year with the corpse of Big Ben. Even with the woeful combo of Trubisky and Pickett, he wasn't too bad....then he came to Chicago and Fields can't find him. The problem is Fields. He can't read progressions--that was his predraft scouting. So ,he just takes off. That's not hard to defend if you have a decent Defense.
-
hes gonna need a lot of players… his coaching staff prefers he throw as little as possible. That was never true with Allen—even when the options were Beasley and John Brown
-
A man who can't cook for himself? Come on, bro... And why is he too tired to cook?
-
He rarely throws. Runs around a lot. He's too easy to scheme against. He doesn't resemble Josh at year 2. If he becomes a better passer, his ceiling is Lamar Jackson.
-
Joe Burrow I guess.

The Athletic: Bills QB room article - includes AFC East QB shade
Mr. WEO replied to stevewin's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have no doubt he like Buffalo and the Bills. An "in" would seem to be a place on the roster, which he didn't have. If you look at this simply--the guy couldn't stay on 3 PS's last year. (not great teams either). Who do you think offered him a #2/roster spot after their preseason ended last year? It just doesn't make sense. In fact, the article clearly states that Josh asked Beane to sign Barkley "as a favor". When Beane cut him I'm sure Josh said "can't you put him on the PS just to hang out?", or something along those lines. That's not describing a guy hanging up on multiple GM's offering roster spots as a backup QB. lol, come on! And he turned them down last winter, when he had no idea if he would play again? And then turned them down again on Aug 30th when the Bills cut him?
