  1. and certainly no Mitch Trubisky
  2. Skylar Thompson could win 11 games on this Bills Offense
  3. so...you're saying there's a chance....
  4. catch him on the right day on his juicing/testing schedule and I bet he's available.
  5. sorry man--I clicked yours instead of thenorthremembers who mentioned Carr
  6. see above. "competitive" is almost a meaningless term in the NFC. Tampa is in the playoffs (that's competitive!)---actually winning their division with a losing record. Packers were facing a "win and you're in" game with only 8 wins. The 9-8 Seahawks (led by Geno Smith!!!) got in courtesy of Detroit (9-7) beating an awful Aaron Rodgers and his DOA Packer team (in 'Legendary Lambeau Field"). Washing stinks. Ron is long past his freshness date. He's a relic and those kind of guys are only still around if they were game changers/SB winners. Even some of them (BB) are pretty much done. Riverboat Ron brings nothing.
  7. The awfulness of the NFC got him to the playoffs (with a 7-9 record). He has zero winning seasons there. he has 3 winning seasons in a 12 year HC career. He rode Cam Newton into the ground with 3 playoff wins to show for it. lol Carr is gonna be the guy who makes Ron into a relevant coach again? Like Wentz? Look at who Rivera has brought in at QB: Wentz, Heinicke, Garrett Gilbert, Kyle Allen, Sam Howell, and Fitzy (the best of that bunch). So now all he is really missing is a guy like Carr, a guy who has burned through a bunch of HCs. nah..
  8. I remember them being big in the canned fruit sector.
  9. lol well anyone is "free" to buy other NFL product, if they want more content--and no doubt they appreciate your extra cash!. It's great you have seasons but every local Bills fan who doesn't can watch most games for free on network TV. And Vincent likely got spanked by the League after this story broke. Whatever it is, clearly his role is not significant enough to have canceled that game.
  10. Wouldn't this make Josh Carolina's de facto next HC?
  11. I think the Bills would be fine without him. I'd feel bad for the guy going to work for the Titans idiot owner. He would be wise to rent, not buy....
  12. His suspension last season gives some hint as to how much...
  13. but the Bills would be at home no?
  14. If the Bills beat Miami, won't the "penultimate battle for the AFC crown" be in Buffalo vs the winner of Jax/Chargers?
  15. It's been a few years since he did that for a full season.
  16. I've never had that
  17. I disagree. Troy Vincent, it turns out, is not "the NFL". The NFL ultimately listened to the coaches and canceled the game--we could see them talking to likely Goodell Dawn Aponte's cell phone in the tunnel. If McD said "we aren't playing", contrary to the NFL's wishes, they would have had to take the L as a forfeit. About an hour after Hamlin left the stadium, they sorted it out--I.e. the NFL made the right decision. That hour or so really means nothing. If anything, this reporting makes one guy look really bad---but his opinion did not prevail, obviously. Again....so what? This is more a story for those who are predisposed to dumping on the organization that provides essentially free entertainment that they can't get enough of.
  18. How does “Riverboat Ron” still have a job?
  19. Beats paying WRs I guess. A franchise going nowhere
  20. he leads the league in air yards beyond the 1st down marker so, ergo ipso facto he is ad hominem the OC....
  21. he relishes each Hines thread
  22. I don't understand why this is still an issue The teams decided they weren't going to continue at some point teams/coaches aren't allowed to cancel games the league after a delay, canceled the game. yeah they should have just said they were following protocol before they canceled the game---and no one would have made much of this. so why make much of it now? because one guy from the League who is not Goodell may have wanted the game to continue? I'm going to assume with 100% ease that the person on the other end of Aponte's cell phone she was passing around to the HC's ultimately was Goodell, who made the call, agreeing with the coaches. who cares at this point?
