  1. yes, we all understand that. He was not mocking Hamlin himself, as many here are bizarrely claiming. It was a childish jab Apple put on twitter for one reason only --to rile up guys like you who would jump all over it even though it is in no way directed at them. Your response (this thread AND it's opening post) was over the top. A player posted a tasteless tweet?! Sacre bleu!! One simply does not mock the Bills loving (now marketing) gestures on behalf of their fallen comrade! Dragging this poor guy (who is still recovering and apparently requiring continuous supplemental oxygen) into the stadium suite so the networks and the jumbotron could pan to him before the game and after each big play could also be viewed as a crass and exploitative maneuver on the Bills and the NFL. They were "hell"bent on milking all of the goodwill/PR this story would provide for as long as they could. It was a huge story for the NFL for almost 2 weeks---they were going to put him on display up there if they had to carry him up. But that's cool.... keep reading
  2. there you go
  3. He wasn't doing that
  4. No player, even Apple, would mock Hamlin himself or his near-death experience. It should be obvious to even you and the others struggling with that tweet that Apple is mocking the Bills and their nonstop use of the "heart/3" for the past 2 weeks--for instance after every score last week against the Dolphins. Face it--it's something the Bills organization hyped all week. Now Apple is tossing it back at them as overhype---all it got them is an early vacation. This isn't even hard---it's Eli Apple! Too many people (nonplayers) let this stuff get to them for reasons that are beyond sense. I don't see Diggs filling a diaper over this--why are you? 1 year of free rent in the OP's head.
  5. as many have pointed out, perhaps you've misinterpreted the "Cancun on 3" comment--similarly you've mischaracterized my posts (I do tend to call out BS a lot). Also, for a guy for whom all of this is just a "hobby", you've decided to start a post to describe your rage ("hate" and "clown" and "hell"!) over some pretty harmless ribbing by an opponent. It's Eli Apple--he's a bum. He talks a lot. It's all part of the TV Show that is the NFL. maybe you need to take a step back from all this for a while, for the life of you...
  6. imagine how emotionally exhausted the Bills would be in a double elimination scenario. none of them would survive. pass.
  7. "ya but" what are you really whining about? a guy who took a few pretty innocuous shots at the losing opponent? who cares? you could have stuffed this gem into the other Eli Apple thread....no?
  8. winners write history. losers start threads about winner who write history
  9. 4 bad exits doesn't need "too reactive"?
  10. who wants to listen to this? nothing will be learned. some "we have to do better--and that starts with me"....crap like that.
  11. He will be gone from Jacksonville about a year before they trade Lawrence to the Colts...
  12. nahh. It's been replaced by "60 minutes"
  13. "Coach Hamlin"?? Anyway....the Eagles canned Pederson (SB winner 5 years ago) and they are right back in the NFCC game 2 years later. Are they an un-"stable franchise"?
  14. This is the Diggs that has been just itching to surface since he arrived Always the consummate team player lol
  15. refer to my previous response to this response.
  16. Oh, so you're a "right culture" kind of guy. I guess there's that.... that and $2.85 gets you a ride on the subway...
  17. the guy who won a lot of regular season games and made a lot of playoffs so they kept him around far past the time where he had exhibited ultimate playoff futility.
  18. Question is will Beane be Elway or Lynch....
  19. Von Miller running his mouth on the sidelines in joggers, gold ropes and a fur coat wasn't going to change the outcome yesterday
  20. Mike McCarthy: 16 years HC 155-97 (.614), 11-10 (.524) playoffs, 4 top 5 Offenses, 1 SB appearance/win 13 years ago. Sean Payton: 15 years HC 152-89 (.631), 9-8 (.529) playoffs, 5 top 5 Offenses, 1 SB appearance/win 14 years ago. pass.
  21. so he can get 8 carries in a Divisional playoff game?
  22. The "culture" he has built is of playoff chokers. They need a new culture. Or no culture. Just win baby.
  23. why?---so they could combine for 11 carries? they aren't as good as Singletary and Cook anyway.
