  1. Scroll up—of course they are. you are assuming that refs were willfully ignoring as opposed to missing calls. They missed an earlier one on the Eagles first half. I don’t buy that. The defender put 2 hands in the guy. That’s going to get called.
  2. He held his hip with the left hand, pulled his jersey with the right. per the rule; "defensive holding is defined as having occurred when “a player grasps an eligible offensive player (or his jersey) with his hands, or extends an arm or arms to cut off or encircle him.” I don't know what "my videos" mean, but those 2 pictures are from 2 distinctly different angles. It's clearly a hold, they called it correctly and the defender admitted he held. There's really nothing else to say.
  3. Hand full-of-shirt hold. And that was with the other hand. Started with his Left hand on his back. Finished with the right hand on the jersey. That's a hold all day long.
  4. Before the game, Bills and Bengals equally matched. After Kickoff, no. You and your pals were the only ones on earth who were seeing "eerie similarities" to the Bills-Bengals stinker while watching that fantastic SB unfold.
  5. That was my addition to that thread. You started a thread that for some strange reason, attempts to drawn a line from an embarrassing no show blowout to a thrilling SB game. It's not "poisonous" for posters to point out poorly conceived threads. Keep the gold coming though...it definitely is spurring some conversation.
  6. All current Bills have stayed on their couches the past 3 weeks, Lee. He doesn't mention that the Bills last 13 win season ended without a SB appearance--only 2 seasons ago. Where was his wisdom then---oh yeah, he was on that team. Nothing to say. So pipe down, "dude".
  7. Let's ask "Shady"
  8. Inevitably, this will be OP on draft day:
  9. Putting on a SB half-time show featuring chores is always going to be a risky prop in a pure entertainment sense.
  10. What has been your favorite Rhianna live performance so far?!
  11. Of course it was. The guy who got caught holding says he held. Go fight him..
  12. Big Lou has had one season in Cincy where his D wasn't crap.
  13. arm and a leg
  14. How has that worked out? 95%.... Another solution looking for a problem. lol why would he agree to that? The guy held him. It'a a penalty. People on crying that refs should have let it slide. They already missed a hold on Eagles D in the first half. Because of that, they are supposed to let every hold go? Weird logic.
  15. Can you imagine being Tyreek Hill last night?
  16. That's already well-known. Mystery solved...
  17. Next year starts yesterday!!!!
  18. I'm here for the fresh O-line takes...
  19. These threads are so phony. No one who has ever posted such has been "lost as a fan". And the "part time ref" stuff is no more a cogent argument now than when it was first made by some whiner or another decades ago. OP should just stop watching----but leave us out of it....
  20. Yes, no doubt your time is priceless. lol. see below. Now it's a "weak division" with the Packers and Vikings? And the Lions played 8 playoff teams this year (1 of them twice). Plus they beat Green Bay twice--all with a bad Defense. But their Offense, far better than Daboll's turned them from 1-6 into 8-2 to finish the season. In fact the Lions went from 25th in points scored to 5th in 1 year.
  21. Why should this not be the case? And when hasn't it? You want to reward dumb decisions? Through Week 8 of this past season, teams at 4th and 1 went for it (with any play at all) only 43.5% of the time. Again, this is a not a problem for the NFL. No need to pretend it is. What's next?---do away with the extra point because it's "almost literally" impossible to stop (95% success) and make all teams go for 2?
  22. I just don't see what problem it has created. It's a legal play available to any team. I would rather see the Bills go for it more on 4th and short and do this if it helps than a lower % play or a punt.
  23. so...."Chiefs are paper tigers"?
  24. It was changed in 2005, I believe. Why would they change the rule when they wrote it expressly to allow this type of play. This is the intended outcome of the rule change. Why would they change a rule that is working exactly as intended? Every team should do it.
