They beat the Bengals. Jones is a great player. It's not luck. It's just taking care of business.

Hodgins or Gabe? Who will have the better career? (Poll)
Mr. WEO replied to K D's topic in The Stadium Wall
There's an original take. No doubt Raiders fans and Carolina fans are positing the same threads about 50/50 dudes Adams and Moore, right? Anyway, 88% of his catches are TDs or 1st downs this season. Also, #2 in the NFL in YPC. In 3 years, including playoffs, 2458 yards, 26 TDs. Who needs that?? -
Rex Ryan emerging as favorite for DC in Denver?

How is it possible Elway is still President of football operations there? -
I would fire on the spot the scout who piped up in the draft meeting and said "yeah, forget all that stuff and forget all that film we've seen .....the guy had the 30th 20 yard shuttle and 27th 3 cone drill"

wow, the Hodgins legend just will not die here! Weird. -
Dolphins?? LOL. KC handled the Bengals. KC has made the AFCC game 4 years in a row, won it 3 times to go to 3 SBs, winning 2. The Bills have been to 1 AFCC game (lost to KC) in 4 years and have been bounced short of it the other 3. Any suggestion that the Chiefs are just "luckier" than the Bills, or that the "Bills woulda won the SB...." (same as we heard here last year) is pure delusion.

Milano was the Bills best Defender for the playoffs and it's not even close.

Matt Araiza, The Punt God, Signs With Team in Mexico
Mr. WEO replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall
How else would they get him on their roster? None of us know that the accusations were not true. He wasn't charged because DA's like to win cases and these are notoriously difficult cases to win--especially if the victim/witness has credibility issues. In SD County, over a 4 year span, only 1/4 of cases involving rape and sex crime related allegations resulted in charges being issued. Therefore, that says nothing about his innocence. Teams and individuals are certainly within their rights to come to their own conclusions. He put himself in this position. He is owed nothing by anyone. -

Lol he can retire to the HOF on that one punt. he’s a Punter—who cares?? Bills don’t need a new Punter. No team seems to want him either. -

When did we see that? He had 1 punt as a Bills player (preseason). Bills (any team) can release any player at any time. What would be the basis for his suit? Why do they need him at this point? -

again??

I didn't make that made up argument you pretended I made. I was simply asking how integral he was and how you easily concluded it would be entirely different without him.
-
How integral was he in the previous 3 sad Bills playoff exits? The scheme WITH Edmunds gave up 107 in those 3 games. How would he be missed?
-
He can't be expected to be paid as an adult.

No NFL needs a Punter this badly. lol -
he has no trade value.
-
It intentionally obscured the issue. No need to carry that on...
-
True, but..No one is arguing that he should have paid for all of it, so that's a point not worth making.
-
Being disingenuous is not a virtue. You very well understand the legitimate criticisms of that deal. They aren't obscure, nor are they not widely discussed. Anyway, Certainly this isn't an argument over all or nothing--attack that straw man until he drops if you wish, I guess. But the point of this thread is that, even with essentially no personal money laid out---actually, BECAUSE of this--those in attendance are going to be paying WAY more (price increase plus PSL) to sit in it. well, I was hinting that they could sell a finite number that is less than the current number.
-
Not sure? Buying season tickets to sell is a speculative move. Depending on how the team is doing, you might make money or you may lose money--especially in December/January. If the Bills raised season tickets to the price point the resale was getting in a particular year, many more fans would likely not buy season tickets--especially those who' intent is to sell them. Also, there is nothing preventing the Bills form limiting the number of season tickets they sell. Simple. Also, 16 teams are in the bottom half of the League in revenue by the way....good point! This isn't rocket science, no.
-
I'm pretty sure you don't have to watch all that if you just want to watch the game... Maybe because they don't work for Fox? Just a guess.
-
That's nice. Coupla bros hanging at the SB. With a guy like OBJ, where he to come to Buffalo, it would be better if his coach wasn't a buddy. OBJ needs adult supervision.
-
yes. Just me, plenty of posters here and and 65% of polled Western NY (13 counties) voters, 68% of Upstate voters and 55% of downstate voters--all of whome were against this "negotiated" agreement. Billionaire: "before we get started, i would like to make clear that, if I have to lay out a dollar of my own money for this stadium, I'm moving the team". NYS: "no problem".
-
Not me, no. No one has made that argument. Straw men don't exist. No need to fury over them. But no one owes a billionaire one either.
