This is true every year when a QB is taken at #1. 2018 is an excellent example. You are judging the "great"-ness based on how they ended up as pros. That's not how it is being used here. I haven't seen this upcoming draft described as a great one for QBs. Not one of them is outstanding.

They are clearly in their rights to do that also. Just because the law doesn't lock up a player who knocks out a woman (on camera) doesn't mean he "should be able to do his job" in the NFL simply because he wants to and is available. Until a contract is signed, a rookie doesn't have a job to do... Employer should be able to place any restrictions to hiring that they want--as long as they are not discriminating against a protected class.
