If he's cleared, absolutely. Guy is 33 and signed a big contract. His value is in his availability at this point. There's not a lot of time to squeeze that value out of him.

If he wasn't drafted, he couldn't be a draft afterthought---7th round, 230 guys were drafted before him. He wasn't the 1st or even the 2nd Punter drafted--2 better guys were drafted in the 4th.

If this was Josh Allen, the Bills would have let it play out. But Araiza was a draft afterthought who never played a down in an essentially insignificant position who was quickly, easily and satisfactorily replaced. He had no value to the team. That's not politics. No other team wants him either--they didn't draft him nor have they invited him after he was cleared. Who cares?

Plenty of players enter the league with no diploma. At that level, they aren’t there for the education, but for the exposure that will get them drafted. This has been true for many years. No diploma. Bogus, unearned diploma. There’s no difference. This is suddenly “odd”? It’s how it works. it’s certainly “odd” to consider any of this “a red flag”…

You can't pick a guy like Davis, who is a big part of the Offense and scoring, and leave off a guy like Epinesa, who is largely a nonfactor in the Defense. What would be "really balls out" for you? 58.5 YPG (gets him to 1000) instead of 55.7? 8 or 9 TDs instead of 7? 6 drops instead of 9?
