  1. With 20 catches in 6 games, pushing 31....he's not putting himself out there as a WR1-pay candidate. No one is going to give him a contract like that. He's a solid WR3. He's putting up Gabe Davis numbers (not even)--and posters roasted Jax for giving him 13 mil/yr. Bills aren't going to re-sign him for 10 times what they are paying him now....
  2. you brought it up lol
  3. He probably has developed a decubitus ulcer with those snap counts...
  4. How many incomplete passes are the QB fault? doesn't matter--it's applied equally for all QBs.
  5. No, you didn't say that--I'm making a declaration. I'm pointing out that he's not some decent QB who walked onto a SB team and was "elevated" to 14 wins, playing for the #1 seed (i.e. a game manager). True Jefferson was out part of the season last year (he played in 10 games), but the 14-2 Vikings are better than the 2022 Cousins Vikings. And while Jones is having a nice little season (no better than Cook was), no one is attributing any of this success to him---only Darnold. If you have been watching him play, Darnold is showing amazing touch, accuracy and confidence. He's top 5 in yards, TDs, rating, yards per attempt, yards per game, TD%-----despite being 12th in passing attempts. He's lighting it up. He's dropping bombs. He is elevating this team.
  6. that’s why I posted. Seems odd
  7. He never left. They changed the rules so that you actually have to come back from....something. Losing to the Rams should not be disqualifying (right?).. Same for Detroit. So...Mahomes is the best in your opinion?
  8. their Defense are all in the whirpool tub at this point. That's 130 point in 4 games. Bills gave up 121 over the same stretch.
  9. Defense got better (with Flores they were mediocre last year)--that has helped for sure--it's what held them back when Cousins was having solid seasons. In 2022, Cousins/Jefferson/Hockenson/Thielen plus D Cook were not as productive as Darnold/Jefferson/Hockenson/Addison plus Jones. It's clear this team got better with Darnold. You'll see when McCarthy takes over next year....
  10. That's a great way to do it. They are 9th in fewest points allowed. No one cares about how many yards they give up.
  11. regressing in what way? they've lost 1 game since week 2. they are scoring at will even their banged up D isn't slowing them down much. this will be the game of the season in week 18... the Lions D has been affected by injury more than the Bills--mainly because the players they are missing are better than the players out for the Bills. I would swap the entire healthy D of Buffalo for a healthy Lions D roster in a second.
  12. odd perception: that receiver corps was there last year when the team was 7-10 (4-4 with Cousins). Vikes haven't won 14 or more since 1998 Sure he has great receiving weapons--so does Burrows: isn't he also "elevated" by that crew? Darnold is not a game manager on that team.
  13. Allen is the best QB in the NFL.
  14. Met him a few times. I have worked with his daughter for years. just the nicest people.
  15. no, but that's not an answer to my question. Darnold is absolutely elevating that 7-10 team.. If McCarthy was the starter they are a 4-5 win team. It's not just about stats. If it was, Burrow wins it going away
  16. Why isn't Darnold MVP? Fished out of another garbage can to lead the Vikes to 14-2 in the toughest division in the NFL.
  17. his team was stacked on both sides of the ball with HOFers and HOF nominees.
  18. Vrabel will have his pick. He won't pick Jets.
  19. It's not like the 45% of the respondents were wildly off at 11 and 12 wins....hardly worth gloating over.
  20. nah, McD is Pegula's Tomlin.
