  1. Relax, someone called him "Mr. Average". He's anything but, as I have shown. "Stat padder"? I guess if you mean a guy who throws a lot of passes to receivers for a lot of TDs. Name all the QBs currently in the league who are "transcendent under duress" (bizarre criteria, by the way). The Offense has abolutle carried the Vikings ("on its back") for the past 3 years as their Defense is absolutely terrible. Last season that D let Daniel Freaking Jones run roughshod over them for 31 points. Cousins went 31 for 39 and 2 TDs. Brough them back from 10 points down to tie in the 4th Q. D gave up the lead and the Offense came up short on the last drive. Stat padder? You mean like Herbert? Rodgers for the past several seasons? Dak Prescott?
  2. yeah, the quoted parts don't sound like it's late teen classmates or HS seniors sending shower pics. He has admitted to "child sexual abuse" material on his phone and shared with others. The exact age of those sexually abused in the pictures (they are minors) doesn't mitigate any of what he has admitted to,
  3. Perhaps for 2 seasons he was overrated by some. He's a solid player since.
  4. Jefferson is for sure. A few mad individuals' passing opinions don't overall make Thielen overrated, I think. He was top 10 for 2 seasons by the numbers though--outpacing Digs by not a few yards.
  5. I think Thielen is legit. One of the better #2's in the league still, with Jefferson (a better WR than Diggs) on his opposite side. He's a solid producer: 2400 yards, 134 1st downs, 30 TDs on 211 catches on a lot fewer targets since they traded Diggs. Looking at the best WRs the % doubled the numbers (depending on who is reporting them) ranges from 20-36% in top 5 in 2022 and10-11% 2021. Either way, the vast majority of time they are in single coverage.
  6. Actually the o-line has taken a huge dive this year. Scroll down and you will see Sharp had Bills at #8 (not 28) last year preseason: 21. Buffalo Bills A year ago we were optimistic about Buffalo’s offensive line, ranking the unit eighth overall, but their placement has fallen to 21st this year. Spencer Brown must improve his production for this unit to surpass expectations. Brown ranked 27th out of 32 right tackles in pressure rate allowed in 2022.
  7. The Bills o-line was 28th preseason last year?
  8. And yet their ratings are historically low for televised professional football. The original USFL's rating dwarfed those of the current. This year, it was beaten by the XFL reboot, despite the latter's less favorable broadcast exposure. If you are going to quote history, the original USFL started with 13 million from ABC and 4 million form ESPN in 1982. By 1984, ABC offered 175 million/4 years to play in the spring and ESPN 70 million/3 years. We all know hat happened next. It doesn't matter how many scrubs and PS players they shuttle back and forth from the NFL, no one is watching these games. This is why they all die off.
  9. I think Subway is reaching out to Jon Kitna's son as their next spokesperson.
  10. congratulations on nearly every respondent allowing one emoji to hijack the thread. Change your focus fellas....it's not about that, it's about the player and the staff.
  11. just what you actually wrote in the first paragraph of the thread you started and have included (PFF scores) in every response since. Crazy how those scores snuck into your posts when you never even brought them up!! oh, hold on... "What the article does not explain is the trash guards Morse has had around him that does severly effect "pff metrics". I'm not a cruel man, so I'll exit here...
  12. Cousins has 6 seasons in the top 10 in passes completed, 5 in top 10 in attempts, 7 in top 10 yards (4th last year), 6 in TDs, 6 in passer rating, 6 in completion%. 4 Pro Bowls. 28th all time in yards, 23rd in TDs, 23rd in YPA, 25th in game winning drives, 26th in 4th Q comebacks. Those aren't average numbers.
  13. "NEVER brought up pff"?? You LED with PFF! here's a "reminer": Did PrimeTime102 hack your account? I can't take you seriously.
  14. How do you know they do not do this when grading a player? And what is your method for breaking down the Guard play? All 22? Something else? How is it different from theirs?
  15. Thanks. Since only coaches know how they grade their own players, we are left with what else there is. Are the PFF guys not football knowledgable at all? I didn't get that impression.
  16. Are you speaking into a mirror or are other posting under your name? "Lean off the PFF stats"....or.... "these numbers do not lie"? But yes, you should probably lay off the PFF stats, as I have recommended at least twice so far.
  17. I agreed Guard play will affect the Center. The data you supplied also showed steady decline over 5 years no matter who was at Guard. If you don't like your data, find another source. well that would include every poster commenting here--including the ones saying the Guards suck, would it not? I don't know that PFF scorers cannot decode blocking assignments, nor do I know that they are non-football expert observers. Maybe you have the straight dope on them?
  18. ARZ--why on earth would they pay and then not play Murray? CAR--who are the "quite a few QBs" Reich has "worked magic on"? He had Luck, Brissett, Wentz, Rivers and Ryan. Bryce young is a talent, but he is legit tiny. DAL--tunrs out, firing Moore was a dumb idea. DEN-- I think Broncos have a much better year. KC--Kelce don't look injured to me. And why does Mahomes need "a #1WR"? Everyone predicted doom after the tossed Hill. Of course, without him, the Chief's Offense improved to #1 over all, in points scored and passing (and another Lombardi). They already answered that question.
  19. After citing the bolded part, you would have Rivers in and Eli out? That doesn't make sense. It's not the Hall of Stats. If it was, Jim Kelly wouldn't be in there. Chargers "not as stable" with Rivers? They had 4 losing seasons in his 14 years of starting. They went to the playoffs 6 times. they went 5-7. When you said "unstable" maybe you meant the Giants, who were a lot more rocky over the course of his career compared to the Chargers---yet they won 2 SB vs far better teams....mainly because of the play of Manning. Post season is huge for HOF--again, see Jim Kelly, Kurt Warner.
  20. He wasn't charged with abusing kids, but sharing pictures of you girls being abused.....scroll up
  21. it says “young girls being abused” in the other pictures. That’s not a few late teen classmates in the shower
  22. Every player is "eligible for the HOF" after 5 years.... Luck had 2 monster seasons. That's about it. Mahomes's numbers are the "mind BOGGLING" ones, by comparison.
  23. I'm sure Guard play will factor into his ratings. Unfortunately, you singled out last season as some sort of aberration for Morse and blamed it on the G's last year. But clearly, his PFF numbers (which you brought to this discussion. to back your point) show a guy an aging lineman is slow steady decline, no matter who has been on either side of him over a 5 year period. So your argument falls flat for obvious reasons and with the data source you have cited.
