  1. Sounds like you were the only one who never believed out would happen. Read this. https://www.si.com/nfl/2017/01/23/nfl-new-england-patriots-abandoned-move-hartford-connecticut What tipped you off?
  2. Don't call the new President of the Bills that, Mr. Dwyer...
  3. He didn't even have to fabricate the city he was threatening to move too. The pols were already in the parking lot with trucks full of cash. Nice try.
  4. The Bills didn't "replace" Beasley and Sanders. They washed out of the league. Bums after 2021. More yards, less points and about the same # 1st downs. It's simply not a "big downgrade", despite your wishing it so. My views on Daboll are well documented, by the way. Dorsey may or may not be a bum. But your roster claims are false.
  5. Agree about @GunnerBill always top notch. But it begs the question: how doesn't an royalist know so much about (real ) football???
  6. yes, Jimmy Haslam and his kookie wife no doubt have a crack PI team that keeps tabs on all their players.....
  7. The Bills NFL brain trust is now the owner of the team as self installed El Presidente, the COO of the Sabres and PSE (who meat Pegula as an investor in his Eastern company, by the way), the lawyer who handled the Araiza "affair" and some other guy.
  8. Why pay a guy to be President when you can just pay yourself for the job?
  9. Singletary as the feature back had similar numbers both year. Moss was a bust--replaced by a much better rookie last year. Sanders was an old journeyman who couldn't finish out the season. Beasley was famously brought back by Kenny D and the boys----only to prove he was absolutely washed up. "Big downgrades"?? Beasley/Sanders combined for 1319 yards, Davis/Mckenzie had 1259. Plus, that duo had 11 TDs vs Crocket and Tubbs's 5. "No doubt"? No chance...
  10. If Saleh only gets 1 more win with Rodgers than he did with last year's QB crew, he needs to be transferred right to the USFL.
  11. The guy did his thing--was the public voice of Pegula's squeeze/threat for the new stadium. Don't need him any more.
  12. more like 15 seconds.
  13. Both are low wattage players. One got rewarded for mediocrity by a desperate new team. The other overpaid to keep the same mediocre at best QB on the roster. Arizona got more bang for their buck from wildly overpaid Kyler Murray last year--and he only played 11 games.
  14. They are paying Carr to throw the ball. Combine any and all TDs by Jones and he still had fewer than Carr. The Giants would have been smarter to draft David Mills for that level of production instead of paying 40 million a year for it.
  15. "same level"? yikes. Also, Carr has been better than Jones every year.
  16. He doesn't play Defense. It's 4 games, not 5. 2012, he came in for RG3. In those games, he had 1000+ yards, 66%, 5 TD, 1 int, 2 rushing TD....despite getting sacked 14 times.
  17. Consistently unavailable. He's been a disappointment the past 2 seasons--done before the last month of the season. Jones's best season was his rookie year, 4 years ago.
  18. lol thanks. I've started few threads over the past 14 years. This seemed like a decent opinion seeker. It had little chance to invoke Josh (his girlfriend/new house/handicap/beard/every interview utterance), McD, Hopkins, Ertz or Digg's tossed helmet. But we are only 2 pages in so....
  19. If the best thing about a huge/overpriced contract is that you can get out of it in 2 years....that makes it not a great deal for the team. Rogers for 2 years at 10 million more per year is a far better deal than Jones.
  20. After 2025 (his 3rd season on this contract) the Giants are out 112.5 million per spotrac.com.
