Jacobs I agree is awesome. Barkley...not as much. Anyway, this isn't really a depressed era for RTB pay. When were they making a ton more per year? 2 guys in the league are making an AAV of over 12.5 million: CMC (a unique player) and Kamara. The franchise tender for RB is about the same as TE. Would any team rather have a top 5 TE or top5 RB? The problem is they are naive or not that bright. Le'veon bell turned down 70 million/5 years from the Steelers because he wanted 17 mil per year. Over the next 5 years before washing out, he made under 3o million and was in his last year taking only $180k to be on Tampa's roster. Likewise, Barkley turned down a deal that would make him 13 million a year---over a 2 million dollar difference in guaranteed money!!! Simply, these guys are too stupid for agents to control. who?

Daboll figures he turned Dimey Jones into 22 TD (total) QB, then he certainly can apply that Dabes AED to Beasley's career as well!

For those still upset we didn’t trade up for Jordan Addison…

I used to have a "Citation II" (fuel injected) purchased at a government auction for $2000. 40K miles on it. Transmission disintegrated after 1500 more. -

That "new regime's" success was basically Josh Allen. Josh Allen isn't walking through that Giants locker room door. The Giants were in a free all the second half of the season. They were awful. They did beat the worst defense in the NFL in the playoffs, KI'll give them that. But I don't see a low power guy like Jones putting that team on his back and, with his under 25 total TDs, repeating that feat. Giants D gives up too many points for that. Rodgers is obviously a better QB and the Jets have a better roster--their Defense is top 5. They won only 2 fewer games than the Giants last year, despite having the worst QB room in the NFL.

Aaron Rodgers has a higher risk of totally bombing than Jones? Anyway, his "system" relies heavily on Barkley. The Giants totally backed into the playoffs--starting 7-2 and then winning only 2 more games in the second half of the season. "Good situation"? They had 4 wins in the NFC. They won a single game in their division. They were not a good team.

Difference is, when the Knicks stink, the Garden still sells out. Fans don't stay away--prices on secondary market were still crazy. The change in ownership high will fade quickly. I guess so. But why would it make fans more likely to see the team that will be fielded--because when they look toward the owner's box, someone else will be there? This team has many actual problems. Bad man as owner wasn't really one as far as performance is concerned.

No they aren't---there are far too few of them for that to be true. Far more of the economy is funded/grown by institutional investing and tax revenue. Billionaires buying toys aren't a significant stimulus. They've always had that option. It's how the league works.

I don't recognize him in that photo

Jets are releasing WR Denzel Mims if they can't trade him.

the claim that was made was the he is a good ball tracker, so his catch % shouldn't be a career 53%. In 2019, he caught 3 passes over 40 yards, only 20 total over 20 yards. the guy has had seasons with receptions in the 30's and 40's. That's a guy struggling to get to the ball.
