  1. simple: players would refuse to wear them and the NFLPA would demand that they not be mandatory
  2. Every owner has done this. He's just really bad at it.
  3. GM Ray Farmer was a bum anyway. It's not like Haslam (a total moron) overruled Howie Roseman over there... I didn't get that. It is true that if he decided to sign a billion footballs for cash a player today, the NCAA would have nothing to say. A and M sold 45 million Manziel jerseys.
  4. So 12 years after he signed the conservatorship (and 7 years in the league), he retires (7 years ago), then starts "looking into" where the movie/etc movie went.....and 7 years later (this year) hires a lawyer who pretty much finds the document? Writes a book in 2011 called "I Beat the Odds"...then writes another book last year" "Nevermind---It Was All Actually Horrible".
  5. “Jets showed marked improvement and most likely will land Rodgers or Jimmy G” looks like OP overslept
  6. lol ok
  7. all fentanyl is synthetic. Mexico, china and India are main producers. The past 3 administrations as well as congress have tried to apply pressure open these countries but there's not much they can do. they got China to classify it as a controlled substance (presumably to increase domestic penalties for illegal distribution)....in 2018.
  8. There is only dead. An irreversible state.
  9. it's a misconception that was used inappropriately by one poster to dispute another. it's a point worth making.
  10. lead with "how about a threesome?" finish with "ok fine, how about a Bills game?"
  11. cardiac arrest is the term. there is no cardiac death. brain death also isn't "death" we've been over this...
  12. I've taken in views from a lot of different vantages at the stadium, but I've never taken an upper decker.
  13. He pointed out the good calls and the bad. Graded them even. Your plays didn't rise to worth mentioning. Anyway, if you put money on the Falcons, this was the most incredible bad beat in SB history. I can see why, years later, you still want to hang it on what you feel are a couple of missed calls. But the obvious take form this game is that it was the worst choke job in history. It would require some real mental jiu jitsu to look ALLLLL the way around that and settle on "it was a poorly officiated game" to explain the outcome to your liking.
  14. His what?
  15. That's his sweet spot
  16. The kid was ok until college. Went to a regimented HS program. Once in college the NCAA money making meat grinder swallowed him up. The best part of this show was learning about "Uncle Nate"--this kid was a balls out genius at age 20 hooking up Johnny with tons of money making schemes. How he came upon with the "his parents come from oil money". was amazing because everyone simply believed it (including me until that show). Plus how he admits to everything and exactly how it worked.
  17. I thought this was about the NL East
  18. googled "Atlanta Super Bowl bad calls patriots" this came up first......

  20. ATL had a 25 point lead with 22 minutes of play left. That's a 3-4 score lead. They would not score another point. They had only 17 1st downs and only 27 minutes of possession. They lost by 6. That was the story after that game.
  21. KC Bills Cincy Philly 49ers Outside: Jets Broncos Lions Sleep on: Jax Ravens
  22. Of all SB's that's a pretty bad example as a game decided by bad calls.
  23. Minneapolis is a culture? anyway, it has to be a location people want to go to and spend time in, not a place they would only visit to watch the SB in person
