  1. You said these guys don’t sign until after camp and preseason. That’s wrong. Of course they do—they both did it 3 times in the past 5 seasons of short contracts. 5 times between March and July. What’s the hard part to understand? You made a poorly sourced statement. Move on.
  2. I've already showed you that is simply not true. Despite you "knowing how this goes", you didn't know these guy routinely took one year offers before, during, and toward the end of training camp. Why double down on a falsehood so easily disproven? Anyway, Suh says he hung out because he had little kids last season. In that video, he doesn't mention any offers he turned down LAST year before the Eagles gave him a call.
  3. Why not?
  4. Is this Esperanto for "Jason Peters"?
  5. The point was made that "both teams (Bills and KC) beat KC in KC". Every SB winner who wasn't a #1 seed had to win on the road in the playoffs. They destroyed Buffalo in Buffalo.... Cincy had the same chance to beat KC in KC as they did the first time. Keep calling games after a guy gets CPR on the field "over and over"? Yeah, that's a bad argument. That was a first in the NFL, now it can happen over and over? That's really not convincing...
  6. He signed in mid August with the Bears. He signed 1 year contracts with the Eagles in 2017, 2019 and 2020--all between March and Mid July. Attended each camp. Suh signed with the Rams in March of 2018 and the Bucks in May 2019. He again signed with them in March of 2020 and again in April 2021--that's 3 offseasons he signed on for in a row on 1 year contracts...."with the team that he played for that season", before training camps started.
  7. And? No one will care about this in future seasons as well. Cincy got the emotional exhausted Bills. The Jags would have been a harder W, so that ended up working out well for Cincy in that regard. They couldn't beat KC in KC when it counted though. Other than some Cincy fans, no one cares. The NFL knows this. It was a feel good story the League hyped right up until this past Saturday. Absolutely no on e can really believe that because the Bills did not get the forfeit that the game is rigged. That's just a really weak argument. None of this would ever have any impact on viewership---which is all that matter to the NFL.
  8. how would stopping a game once a season or so cause them to lose money? The ads are paid for, the TV contracts set. The tickets paid for...
  9. threads like these have a high incidence of coming back to bite the OP..
  10. how would we know?
  11. You're being disingenuous now. You know how this works. Peters was available after his contracts ended. They didn't resign him.
  12. Settle down. "theorizing" is also opinion making---and your post scoffed at anyone who would even theorize that the answer could be "yes". you wrote what you wrote
  13. "we came up 18/11ths short of 11/11ths"
  14. Dallas released Peters. So did the Bears... See above
  15. You were absolute in your response and went further calling out any postern who would even "theorize" that McD may not be able to do both. You base this opinion on others doing it. Other HCs have won multiple SBs--but it's certainly uncommon. Likewise, few HC's are also the listed OC/DC. "They exist" isn't a great way to convince someone that McD is absolutely, without question, one of them....as you state is your opinion.
  16. So for you, it's a given he can handle both jobs equally well? How have you already concluded this?
  17. Exactly--he sure had the angle on him, but too slow at full speed.
  18. There will nearly 1200 cut current roster players available by Tuesday. Can't be one decent reserve OT in those numbers?
  19. A guy like Miller can change the outcome of any game. One HOF lineman really can't.
  20. he's fun and funny though...
