  1. Players use far less cocaine on game days now. It's more of a 5-hours energy sipping league these days.
  2. Hines and Crowder returned 25 of 29 punts last year. Shakir had 2 and Lewis 1. The first 2 are gone. Also, you can't cite some of the best returners ever as proof that all returners needs or have an "innate' talent for doing so. Obviously the majority of them don't. Hines (12 career college returns) and Crowder don't. Look at the top 15 in Y/Return last year...
  3. Did Roscoe Parrish lose this "innate ability" the second half of his career? And what is it about Ty Johnson that tells you he has this innate ability?
  4. why were those teams putting on such an entertaining game when it's only preseason?
  5. lol no kick returns. why would they keep Ty Johnson on ST? What is he good at? he drops a lot of punts?
  6. No, New Orleans had that guy…4 years ago.
  7. In 4 years, Harty has appeared in only 40 games. Under 2 punt and 2 kick returns per game. 1 career TD. His best year, by far, was his rookie year…4 years ago. What are they paying him for? My point was no one knows if Isabella could be a good return man right now. Worth a try. We know Harty used to be a pretty good returner… I’ve made the same argument re:why run it out of the end zone, on this board in the past. Guys are still going to return kicks. also kickers will spend more time crafting kicks into the 10 yard line to goal line. Also, it doesn’t account for punts.
  8. That kind of leverage is long gone. If you're #1, you're going to the team that owns the #1 pick... That's second contract money...
  9. good point--had you put this in either of those threads, no one would have understood what you were saying
  10. I'm here to help with the "search"...
  11. 365 days a year, yes. They manufacture them in Green Bay (Favre).
  12. In the history of redundant threads here, might this be the most ridiculous? How many toy collecting freaks are out there??
  13. When did a PSE employee become a Bills homer? This needs a deeper dive...
  14. another "we don't get no respect!" thread---YESS!!!
  15. This is a simplistic hot take reaction to new rules changes which won't change much at all regarding need for a superior return man. Isabella seems like the best dual threat (ST/WR) on the roster right now. He's cheap.
  16. Yeah this "Isabella isn't a good return guy" makes no sense--he's had rare opportunities. He's built to be the perfect returner--give him some K/P to return. This jamoke form the Jets certainly isn't a return man.
  17. of course it does. The Colts obviously want to keep him. They are going to therefore ask a high ask. In the end, he will have to play for what they are offering or sit.
  18. You said these guys don’t sign until after camp and preseason. That’s wrong. Of course they do—they both did it 3 times in the past 5 seasons of short contracts. 5 times between March and July. What’s the hard part to understand? You made a poorly sourced statement. Move on.
  19. I've already showed you that is simply not true. Despite you "knowing how this goes", you didn't know these guy routinely took one year offers before, during, and toward the end of training camp. Why double down on a falsehood so easily disproven? Anyway, Suh says he hung out because he had little kids last season. In that video, he doesn't mention any offers he turned down LAST year before the Eagles gave him a call.
