  1. clearly, he could not. He should change his name to Chad Namath so we wouldn't have to hear about him here anymore
  2. That day will never come here... The name alone means everything to too many here
  3. no I was just reading the TBD script for this scenario
  4. Teller? meh... what about Isaiah Hodgins???
  5. More than 1 HC could or has taken a 6th round QB to 9 SBs and 6 SB wins? Look how many have been hired and fired over that 20 year period.
  6. As the season went on,. Pickett didn't get much better. Check out his stats. He was all over the place. And that Steelers O isn't exactly loaded. It's decent. Citing "half the board" isn't the best argument. My point was that it is more likely that Pickett turns out like Rosen than Allen.
  7. I'm sure they can. But there's a lot more a young QB needs to learn in the NFL. That's different from any other position. Brady was key to NE's success, but BB created NFL Brady to a large degree. And he won 6 rings surrounding him with a lot of guys he throw away and replace. Under how many HC's would Brady have become the GOAT? I can't comment on the future of O'Brien/Mac. Wasn't my point. Sure it might work out. Or it could just be O'Brien assuming he can do it all. We know how that has worked out... I'm sure Brady helps Josh with certain things. Intrinsically, I'm not sure how he helps him with the nuts and bolts of the mechanics of throwing, moving around and out of the pocket, etc. Not sure if he even needs to at this point. Josh is a 5th year vet.
  8. I have been very specific that i only considered the QB position. Young QB needs to learn the sped of the game, read defenses and, maybe most of all these days for guys coming out in dya 1 or 2 rounds with less starting in college, their mechanics. Don't see how a long snapper, LB or WR can deliver that.
  9. screw this shameless clickbaiter!!! don't give him likes! I refuse to read this article!! screw national media!!!
  10. Is this a real thread?? lol Anyway--let Jerry wildly overpay for O-line as much as he pleases---it hasn't made a difference. The team is a playoff joke.
  11. The results in AZ, NE, Cleveland speak for themselves. I'm not sure what a non QB could offer top 5 franchise QB or a rookie/soph QB.
  12. I think most mothers of some random athlete's fetus (she seems to collect them) who needed his cooperation for a medical urgency and a blood sample would not go right to social media to solicit others to injure the guy (for money) if he allegedly has refused to offer said sample. Especially when her fetal medicine specialist no doubt has informed her that they don't really need only his blood. What she is saying is certainly possibly true, but this is how we learn of it---with a (illegal?) plea for someone in his profession to take him out? Is that not ethically or morally challenging to you?
  13. we were discussing the practice of fetal transfusion, none of which falls under "empty rhetoric", "lacking sincerity or meaningful content", "oratory", "hyperbole", "compositional techniques" or "figures of speech". Just two guys having a discussion amongst themselves. Beck is a smart guy who knows his stuff--a broad range of topics. Google search may not be for you.
  14. NE isn't in the picture. Everyone on the planet would put up Allen, Tua and Rodgers against Mahomes Watson and Pickett. come on...
  15. how many QB coaches never played QB?
  16. "we don't know the background" yet, hearing only her side of the story, you're sure he's a bad man? Anyway, forgetting for a minute that you aren't sure what "rhetoric" means, we are just trying to figure out what might be happening based on the allegations and diseases that might require fetal blood transfusions and how they are performed. Why don;'t you just skip these technical posts altogether, instead of bashing them. Make it easier on yourself.
  17. with Pickens, Johnson and Friermuth, he would have to be better than Josh Allen to make a playoff run. He's not.
  18. It's about 100cc/kg. From what I read they may take as much as 400 cc from the mother, spin it down to a hematocrit as high as 75 or 80 to minimize the volume transfused.
  19. no film--straight up sideline breakdown as only a savant like Barkley can.
  20. Josh Rosen had 11/14 and 10.... Pickett is not Allen.
  21. I knew the forum was lusting for (always) just one more DHop thread... (is he coming or no?)
  22. who's gonna "break down the Defenses" for Josh on the sidelines between series???
  23. that's the Turk
  24. No way AFCN over AFCE. Come on. IF Pinkett...and IF Watson...and IF Jackson. Pinkett is a low voltage turnover machine (7 passing TD in 12 games, 9 INTs, 4 fumbles). Watson has played 6 (bad) games since 2020. He's had one above average season in his career. Most overrated QB in the NFL right now. Jackson has played 24 games in the last 2 years and chose to watch his team lose form the sidelines in the playoffs. Likely the same this year. Not so many "ifs" in the AFCE.
  25. Exactly! In fact, he may be the next Nate Hackett, who had a #1 Offense in GB with some old QB.
