  1. When the full report came out from the investigation I acknowledged it. No one cares anymore though, except a very.....select group of posters here.
  2. between the last Q of 2022 and the 1st Q of 2023, Disney+ lost 6.5 million subscribers. they are the ones struggling here. but keep going, you're doing great. tell us more about your phone chats with Spectrum...
  3. you said he had nothing, and that signed releases rendered it all moot anyway..
  4. your point is you're too lazy to read about this. why not do so and get back to us?
  5. what were you expecting after that barely readable post (and that was after you edited it)? did you expect me to agree that everything published on the internet about the current dispute between Charter and Disney is a lie because Spectrum disconnected you in a phone chat? no, I can't see myself doing that.
  6. "NewEra's Obsession"
  7. yikes---still carrying water for an almost rookie Punter? creepy... it's a ripe for abuse tort system that has hurt the medical profession (or the practice of it, to be more accurate). anyway, a solid defense is good lawyering.
  8. are you for real? Anyway, what I posted is what is happening. look it up.
  9. you already concluded he has nothing, so what is it you are now waiting for? in your business, there is not a minuscule chance you will need a good lawyer before you retire. how did they hurt you?
  10. Blame Disney--they are squeezing Charter for higher carriage fees for second tier Disney programming (their primo stuff is reserved for Disney streamers). Charter wants all Disney streaming content available Spectrum subscribers thrown in with any increased carriage fee. Until then, Spectrum is blocking them. This is what Spectrum wants for the tentatively agreed upon 2.2 billion increase in carriage fees. Disney is saying no way--they just want the 2.2 billion extra for nothing extra. Silly offer, really. Charter says it wants to reinvent the cable industry to include streaming channels in their bundles. If it doesn't get what it wants, it has indicated it would walk away from the cable business. Disney stands to lose 1-2.3 billion this year, maybe half recoverable if people switch to other cable, DISH or streaming formats that include Disney content. Tampa ABC affiliate should have tomorrow night's game.
  11. that's immaterial to this discussion. he's not just suing the jet ski bro. he's going after his rental company, as I posited earlier. yup. has to be something there
  12. "The refs screwed us" loonies will be vocal at kickoff and until week 2....when they will start all over again.
  13. I'm watching U vs Texas A and M right now on ABC
  14. No one here seems to disagree with that. My original point was that he was the only one being discussed and there is almost no chance he could cover what Hines was due on the roster this year. Per PFT: " Earlier this year, Hines signed a revised contract that replaced the deal he signed with the Colts in 2021. The two-year, $9 million deal included a $1 million signing bonus, a $100,000 workout bonus for 2023, a base salary of $2.56 million for 2023, and $340,000 in per-game roster bonuses. Hines has received $600,000 of his signing bonus. The Bills, per multiple sources, have proposed withholding the $400,000 installment due later this year, along with the $100,000 workout bonus that Hines earned in the offseason. That would represent reimbursement of half of the signing bonus covering the two-year contract. The Bills also are willing to pay Hines $289,000 in 2023, which matches the highest amount that can be paid to a practice-squad player." I don't see the Bills offering him his full salary for this accident. Why would they? He placed the contract in jeopardy when he got on a jet ski. That's why I brought up the other guy's rental company (or pretty much anyone else). Ask his lawyer--he seems quite focused on "Why someone elected to rent a jet-ski to such a person and why this person chose to do so"... What do you think he's talking about?
  15. I just found that in a Post article from yesterday. I was asking why they were not mentioned earlier in the week in the initial report. They focused on the other guy (who no chance has enough coverage to make a dent). So I brought up the company. You said they can't be sued.
  16. Well, no one has been sued yet. Also, you missed this, from the report earlier this week: “Nyheim, who has his boating license and was likely traveling at about 10 miles per hour was not cited and has engaged my office to hold the necessary parties accountable for ending his season and costing him potentially many millions of dollars. Why someone elected to rent a jet-ski to such a person and why this person chose to do so are questions my office will be looking into very closely in the coming weeks. I look forward to doing everything I can to put the pieces back together for Nyheim, who is a terrific person and client.”.....
  17. Disney only owns (through ABC) 8 local ABC affiliates, so unless your local is one of them, ABC programming should be available. They can't pull program from one of their affiliates or stop cable providers from carrying them as far as I know.
  18. maybe the other guy was obviously intoxicated.
  19. Spectrum blowing up my phone with free trial of Fubo to watch Disney content
  20. why not include the rental company then?
  21. Sounds like his dad embellished (being kind here) for the purposes of donations. Williams had a non life threatening head laceration that got infected, probably got septic/intubated/extubated/recovering.
