  1. by whom? that's incorrect. I was responding to the hypothetical the poster posted. Have someone help you with the reading.
  2. It wasn't in a footnote. It's article 5 in what appears to be the complaint's bill of particulars. #6 is the alleged direct quote of Jones. So which "3rd world countries" might Pegula perhaps have said "something to the effect of" when referring the black NFL players as places they might otherwise live to compare freedoms? Bolivia? Laos? Bangladesh?
  3. tell us what his short pass stats are
  4. there already was an NFL investigation...yet here we are...
  5. lol this has to be sarcasm. each suggestion more laughable than the last
  6. Worst voted COTY since Jauron. Tanked second half of the season. Ass into playoff game. Beat worst D in the league. Wake up week 1 2023 and Jones is still their QB. Get humiliated by the Cowboys, at home....
  7. Daboll has no magic. He was gifted the #3 QB in the NFL. Now, with a bum at QB, he's exposed.
  8. Pegula isn't party to the suit. A jury will be asked to decide if the NFL retaliated (I guess?) against Trotter and backed out of some verbal deal to renew his contract based on what he asked Goodell multiple times in public (NOT related to Pegula comments). Not sure why everyone keeps assuming otherwise. Doesn't matter fort Pegula anyway--the plaintiff will be deposed under oath, Pegs never will. He can simply deny he said it as he has and no one will challenge him legally. People will believe him or not. He faces no consequences for denying if he actually said it. What else would he do?
  9. I was expecting W2's and 1099's....
  10. Can we not cheapen the losses the Topps massacre families suffered by bizarrely lumping it in to excuses for the Bills not showing up the for Bengals game last year? for chrissakes. it's disgusting.
  11. Alas....who will tell McD to "be smarter"?
  12. Orlovski was the Colts tank for Luck. Anyway, what is he talking about? "grow up"?
  13. I've never considered that under amateur sports I guess.
  14. Bengals certainly could not use a decent OT...
  15. Fair enough. The point also could be made that he didn't speak publicly when he first heard this indirectly about Pegula and directly from Jones. He gave the NFL a chance to do something about it. What they did was refuse to renew his contract.
  16. How would he realize he was mistaken so that he may admit it? The story is he heard Pegula say it. Pegula can only deny it.
  17. Florio didn't break this story. Every media outlet broke it and quoted the same sensation parts of the suit. No one "excreated" it If they are true, they bolster his case. Why would he exclude them? Which quote did he reference in his press conference question to Goodell?
  18. Trotter isn't really publicly declaring this. It's buried in a suit that does not involve or name Pegula. I doubt Trotter would even make much of it in the suit. He's suing because he says they were going to renew his contract but they then didn't after he asked Goodell a question at a presser before the SB 2 years in a row. He's not suing over the comments he alleges.
  19. They cut him loose after saying they didn't see any reason why they would not renew his contract and even asked if he wanted to expand his responsibilities. But after he brought up for a second year in a row at the SB press conference why NFL Media didn't have anyone of color at the top editorial spots, Goodell had enough. Weeks later they told his agent they didn't want him anymore.
  20. correct--see above. but Trotter wasn't hearing hearsay
  21. the problem is obvious: it doesn't involve Pakistanis or Canadians. you already knew this, but answered as you did anyway... we all understood that. "double" and "triple" hearsay is the topic of discussion. the media employee saying so in court clearly would not be hearsay
  22. Trotter says one of those 40 NFL Media employees during conference call told him/them this. To the group on the call, it would not be hearsay.
  23. I think they knew the specifics--in fact his suit claims he wanted to mention the Jones comment on TV but NFL Media execs told him not to.
  24. Who needs to invest in valuable FLA real estate when you can give your money to Pegula's totally bogus East Resources SPAC scam?!
