JA’s big time throw % vs turnover worthy play % since 2020
Mr. WEO replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
what constitutes a turnover "worthy" play? -
None of this has anything to do with anything of course. The kid will be fine.

He caught 4 short check downs for a total of 25 yards. Then was quickly brought down. The YAC for 25 total yards isn't something to point to. -

he caught 4 dump offs--none more than 9 yards. A single 1st down (2 yards). zero in the second half. -
Interesting ESPN article (re Allen): death of the deep ball

well...bad decisions are just that. But this narrative that he abandoned or was too injured to go to the short game isn't true. -
Because fans have little trouble getting to the stadium by car. The games sell out. There are doubtless many people who head to the stadium just for the tailgating and don't even have tickets. What "more business" there? Your rail spur would cost money to solve a problem that doesn't exist. As for making money--the Bills provide Pegula a risk free massive return on his investment and a steady income stream. As for using the stadium for other events, the owners of the stadium are free to book any event that will go there--exactly as they do now. They are free to fill it with "more business" if they can. The truth is there are few large stadium events to book. No one is going to build "a mall" out there. Malls are terrible investments---dead.

The lawsuit isn't just about offensive remarks. They were used as examples for his argument as evidence of the things listed in his complaint. You really should read it. No that would be like me asking Bob "what was the result of the investigation regarding the issues I brought to you attention 3 years ago" and Bob telling me "the company says 'nothing to see here' so.....are you going to stop asking about/bringing up this issue going forward" and me saying "no" and him saying "you're fired".

People take this stuff personally---which is so bizarre. Do they really think this bothers the leader of a team? He absolutely knows (they all do) that heat comes after a tough loss. He's a big boy making lots of money. These criticisms don't affect him. Why would posters feel affected? It's creepy.

It is a 2 way street. So let people say what they want. It doesn't hurt Josh Allen (it will not "drive him out of town"). No one is saying he's a bad person. None it is "spite". Bad takes always exist. Don't let it hurt you.

Pegula has the means to pay guys under the table--if you're convinced that goes on. That should be clear to you. He doesn't want to. Who would he spend it on anyway? Also, he doesn't want to spend his own money on a stadium megaplex, like Kraft did. He obviously doesn't want to make that investment. Take it up with him. Also, I don't get your point about the railway and the stadium only hosting 10 events a year. Pegula won't own the stadium anyway--he's a tenant.

It's not extreme or over the top. It's the same stuff fans have posted on such boards all over the country since such places have existed. This place is very tame--mods keep a solid grip on the language. Anyway, fan support directly and indirectly pays Allen's astronomical salary to properly entertain them. They can say they want on a fan message board that he doesn't read. Why pretend this isn't the case?

Drive him out of town? Where do fans appreciate sloppy QB play? Cleveland is tied up with Watson for years...

You misread it then. He was asked, in essence, to not discuss publicly how the NFL is handling matters of race (he's a black reporter, to remind you). This is several years after he voiced his initial concerns and, he claims, nothing was done. He said he would not stop asking the questions. That alone is why they didn't renew. So he sued them. Whether the suit has merit is for others to decide, not you and I. lol there you go! What is this conspiracy? He asked them 2 years ago.
