  1. most everything you wear was made in those shops. Why call out the NFL for having Nike (for example) as a sponsor because of who Nike subcontracts manufacturing of Nike (not “NFL”) products?
  2. well then every fan who buys the merchandise is as complicit as “the NFL” where does it end? Are the Bills complicit with animal cruelty for allowing venders to sell chicken fingers produced in grotesque factory farms? shoukd they not let you flash you iPhone e ticket because of the insane secondary market transaction fees or that the phones are made in Chinese sweatshops?
  3. Not necessarily. Bills have been sending him mostly on short sideline routes. Take away his 4 longest catches (totaling 124 yards, minus an average of 5 YBC per) and his YAC for the other 69 catchers is 3 yards. Also, his 1st down % (40) is well below Diggs, Davis, Shakir, Knox--all receivers with at least 30 targets.
  4. I bet Beane feels he is paying them for more than 1 above average game.
  5. I just seemed an odd complaint: hazard pay for those getting paid to be there, yet 10's of thousands will be paying to be there, exposed to the same hazard. Maybe they deserve some sort of refund for showing up?
  6. would another $7.50 an hour make him safer? NFL teams are not outsourcing "such work" to sweat shops. The companies that pay to put the logo on their garments do, like Nike.
  7. Look, if there's a massive blizzard Sunday, they will cancel the game for Sunday. They won't play it Monday because of the massive blizzard Sunday. You can't dig out a stadium and all access to it overnight. Anyone who went through last year's storm would find this quite obvious.
  8. who is "he"? The point you are pretending to miss is that he turned around, briefly, a moribund franchise. In the games he actually threw a pass in, Vinny won 2 playoff games---one with Browns and one with the Jets. Were a great QB and weapons in place when BB drafted Brady? No, they were 5-11 with Bledsoe--Brady was the 2nd or 3rd string guy. Was Brady a great QB the 1st SB winning season? again, no. these takes get worse! BB had one season before he picked Brady. You and others making re-writing history to make it seem like Brady was a fully formed HOFer as soon as he stepped on the field--only waiting for his moment to dominate the league. can't take that seriously.
  9. There is zero chance that a day after a storm like that ended a game could be played. Some people were stuck in their homes for a week. over 30 people died. Plowing routes to and from the stadium was not a public priority, as you should already have known. If it is to be as bad as you are saying, they wouldn't be playing Monday.
  10. Was everything just fine the day after that storm hit?
  11. won a a playoff game Vinny Testaverde, Leroy Hoard, Derrick Alexander 4 years after taking over a 3-13 team. It would be their only win for the next 23 years. Lots of posters here saying it was mostly Brady. How many were saying that after the first 1 or 2 SB wins?
  12. It's a simple comparison of what the actual outcomes were between the two seasons. No need to use your imagination. But since you brought it up, the drop off happened this season if at all: the past 4 seasons the Bills Offense has ranked 2,3,3 and 6th in points scored. SO there really is no reason to believe there would have been "a nosedive" this year.
  13. Was Brady a HOFer in those first 3 SB seasons? Few would say so. Most called him a game manager. Alex Smith was traded to the Chiefs for a second round pick. That's a lot for a reclamation project. The facts are that Smith was on his was to his best season when he was replaced in game by Kaepernick. Despite being cleared for the following game, Harbaugh decided to continue with Kaepernick....and, well, the rest is history. Smith was a reclamation in Washington--maybe that's what you meant to say? Reid only gets in the conversation with several more rings. GOAT isn't for just the regular season (he would need 71 more wins to pass Shula anyway)
  14. So Cook and Kincaid were not difference makers.
  15. Bills scored more points last year. They also had more passing TDs, same yards, same rushing TDs/yards, more 1st downs. The main difference is the run/pass mix this year.
  16. Great first name for your son! Ours was born months early and 9 weeks in NICU--was going to go with William, but he was so tiny we told him he could only handle half the name...
  17. McNabb was a #2 1st round pick, not some 6th rounder...Alex Smith was an overall #1 pick. Mahomes was a #10 1st round pick. 2 rings with all of that for Reid, without more championships, isn't in this conversation yet. The Chiefs aren't exactly on the come up at this point... He's been a HC 25 years. 5 more and he's done. If he wins 2 or 3 more SBs in that time then, sure, he is in the conversation. His NFL competition is obviously BB, who did more with less (12 AFCC games, 9 SBs, 6 rings--all with one QB, good Defense and a bunch of journeymen at Offensive skill positions).
  18. Whos' the real GOAT? BB: 6 SB wins as HC, 2 more as DC. No college. Saban: 7 college national titles. crashed and burned in NFL, ran back to college game. Carroll: 2 college national titles, SB win (and SB loss).
  19. can an entire roster enter the transfer portal at once.?
  20. We all agree that the Ravens are dependent on Jackson for success--true for any team with a top 5 or 10 QB. "Lamar is pretty critical to the Ravens results." This is also true in the postseason. Allen's Bills are 4-4 but his performance is an order of magnitude better than Jackson's, overall.
  21. Ravens are 1-3 in the playoffs with Lamar. 900 yards, 55% completion, 3 TD and 5 INT, 5 fumbles. His last game was 3 years ago.
  22. I don't think most limit "best offensive weapon" to those criteria. Outside of Josh, Diggs is still the best weapon, despite his rough 2 months. Shakir is a guy you surprise a Defense with now and then.
  23. teams don't give away valuable assets for nothing if there are offers out there. Other teams don't make offers on assets they are very confident will be available for the simple taking. All of this is plainly obvious, so I'm not sure what you are arguing at this point. I wish. New WR1
  24. they were playing against Ravens without Jackson, OBJ, Flowers, Hamilton, Humphrey. Now Watt is out. They will be playing from behind. Let them run 70%...
