Von Miller faces arrest in domestic violence case in Dallas
Mr. WEO replied to ArdmoreRyno's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's already done pretty well for himself--what is there left you would want for him? We should want more from him--on and off the field, no? -
this. The OP completely misses the point--no one cares about any one city's viewing numbers---they have nothing to do with the TV contracts, which obviously are sold based on overall TV ratings.
-
San Diego didn't care about them either, so they should feel right at home.

"sometimes life just.....be life-ing" The Defense rests... -
Feel bad? The Bills paid I'm almost 1.2 million NOT to play football!--not even put on the uniform. Between ATL last year (1.3 million) and this year--2.5 million to appear for 8 Offensive snaps. not bad

he's certainly had an MVP season in the past. but not this year. Josh is an order of magnitude better than LJ.
-
Look Payton doesn't want him, we know that. But he's not had an awful year and who are they going to bring in next year who is better? Only 5 QBs have thrown more TDs They've gone from dead last to 16th in points scored. As is typical for a Sean Payton team, the Defense sucks. Lamar Jackson is putting up Tyrod Taylor numbers, but he has the best running Offense in the league (guys like Gus Edwards, Justice Hill and Keaton Mitchell have 17 TDs between them!) and the top Defense on the field when he takes a break--and Jackson is a top MVP candidate!

come on....really? Anyway, to answer your question....you can't keep your post deconstructors straight. -
Carr was benched with 2 games left in the Raiders season, then Carr was gone. Stidham is bad.

no you are all free to publish as many redundant threads as you please. maybe you feel you express your not-so-unique thoughts better than those who originally posted on this same topic---so much so that you couldn't possibly mesh your thoughts with their existing thread! Anyway "Bob Jones", you are confusing me with @Dr. Who, who called one of your posts "trollish exaggeration"... to which you responded: "posting an opinion YOU don’t agree with is not “trollish”, rather, it’s just another view….no need to throw insults and get all high & mighty." You seem to have this problem with a lot of posters. Maybe you should only post in emojis for a while.. -

this.....again?? -
Payton's coaching genius existed only in the context of Drew Brees--and even then after wining a single SB with one the best QBs of all time, he had a stretch of 4 7-9 seasons in 5 years. He isn't a competent HC--he neglects the Defensive side of the ball. I see no QB scenario next year where they get to the playoffs. His pumping up Stidham is shameless. This is the QB that owners tell the HC to play when they want to get rid of their expensive starter (see: D. Carr).
-
Why would they concede the playoffs? The HC claims they are "desperately trying to win" and that Stidham decision is based on "a spark". My favorite part is this: "one of the things we saw when we signed Stidham in the offseason, not only from preseason games but regular-season games, but he's a guy I'm excited to see play." Stidham took 4 snaps and attempted zero passes this year. Payton is a bum. Washed up. Same will be true next year when they sign a guy like Minshew or The Passtronaut, while they try to groom a rookie QB. That team is going nowhere with him. Yes they will cut him. If they do it in March as has been reported, he would be a 50 million cap hit in 2024. If they let him go in June, they pay him 35.4 million.
