Gronk and Wilson certainly have been difference makers. Orakpo has spent a lot of time injured and hasn't been very productive relative to other pass rushers in his 5-6 seasons. Bulaga has just been ok as a tackle. I've seen him get owned in a number of games especially by speed guys.
Didn't Sanchez commit two turnovers in this game with playoff implications? The last turnover he made directly resulted in a game winning field goal that basically catapulted Detroit into playoffs. Now Eagles are in danger of not making playoffs . Sanchez is indeed everything I want in my QB. Doesn't take care of the ball and still makes really bad mistakes.
What you say is purely anecdotal. Teams without their feature back just don't do as well. How has Houston played without Arian Foster? How has Minnesota done with no Adrian Peterson? Take away Lynch from Seattle and they don't even contend this year .
Two crucial fumbles by Brown and McKelvin which directly resulted in a 14 point swing were the primary reason for us losing. Orton missed a few throws but he was not the main reason.
How did Sanchez look against the Seahawks the past week?
Didn't get to watch the game but stat line doesn't look good. 10 for 20 for a 50% completion rate. 4.8 ypa. 76.2 rating
NFL draft is not the same as NHL draft. Unlike the NHL draft, you can expect to get quality ready to start players through several rounds in NFL. So you shouldnt be wasting high picks just for the sake of hitting the jackpot.
I'm not surprised that you managed to get in a Tebow reference .
You do realize that there was nothing special about what Tebow did against the Steelers? Le beau chose to stack the box pretty much all game because Tebow was not a passing threat .
College accuracy does not translate to NFL when you aren't running a pro offense. Tim Tebow averaged over 66% completions during his college career. Thats because he ran a spread and was throwing only to wide open receivers. In the NFL, Tebow averaged an eye poping 47.9% during his 3 year career. So there should not really be a surprise that Griffin is doing poorly when he is being asked to operate in something different from his Baylor kiddie offense.
Brees , Brady, and P. Manning are better QBs than Luck at this point based on their performance over past 3 seasons (try QB rating as an objective criteria). Seems like an arbitrary ranking to put Luck up there.
