During Lynch's last 1.5 seasons with Bills , wasn't he averaging less than 3.5 ypc while Fred was around 4.5 ypc? 3.5 ypc is terrible. That's why Total yardage is an incomplete picture for an RB. Have to see how productive he is for each carry .

If you have a turnstile offensive line and aging or ineffective RBs with a defense that regularly can stop an opponent, you may want to lean towards punting despite what stats say. On the other hand, if you had a stout offensive line like Dallas with a Demarco Murray with a questionable defense, you may lean towards going for it on 4th and 1.

The Bengals have had a very talented defense and offense. This year they had injury issues going into playoffs but not in previous seasons. Dalton is just not clutch.

Would we get to play the Bengals with 41 injuries every week? There are a number of bad QBs out there that some folks here continue to tout. Luck is not one of them though. He is pretty legit.

No one denies the big numbers out up by Griffin in his rookie year. What people will debate though is his "greatness" that was ruined by injury as you like to tout. I posit that he was never great and that he's one and done because of a gimmick offense that was not sustainable (see other read option baby named Kaepernick) .
