Well then, our QB problem is solved. Just give Peterman a season to prove his worth. No need for people to argue over giving up a king's ransom in draft picks just to select yet another prospect.
You miss the point of the test. They aren’t looking for a research scientist . What they. don’t want is dolts like Vince Young and his 6. Most successful QBs score above the average which is 20 I believe ?
Hmm. If there were true, we wouldn't have such a dearth of franchise QBs right. Would just have needed to wait for EJ Manuel or Jeff Tuel to practice enough until they became All Pros?
Peterman is not an Aikman or a Manning who were top QB prospects and selections. Those guys were cut some slack because their coaches knew they had a lot more going for them. What are we supposed to hope for from a 5th round pick?
Any elite QBs from recent era score under a 20? A good QB doesn't need to be a bookworm, but still needs to be able to read a playbook and process information quickly on the field.
I've read here that a franchise QB magically makes things better. OL run and pass blocking becomes elite. Our DL can always get penetration. Our WR will speed up and get separation . Our DBs wont be outmuscled by big physical receivers . Our kicker will hit 60 yard field goals consistently. And so on.
So would this overall evaluation of the roster indicate that the Bills won't be as willing to trade away the farm for the right to draft a prospect QB in top 5?
I find it interesting that the Raiders have not re signed EJ. But maybe once camp rolls around he will get signed. Always heard that all EJ needs is a chance to let er rip.
