In my opinion, Josh Allen would beat Carr, no matter the other aspects of the teams, 90+% of the time.  Josh is a leader of men, with a great arm, accuracy, and  the ability to win no matter the obstacles.

Carr has none of those qualities.

    Bring him on.

Football is a team sport.  The Bills with Josh were 1-1 (50%) against the replacement level QB led Jets last season.

Wow, this is one of the worst posts I have ever seen on this forum.  He will win whatever lawsuit he files.  Not only was he a union employee, the Bills cut the guy he was competing with and then proceed to cut Araiza only after he was wrongfully accused of a crime.  He should have been suspended and placed on the commission exempt list while the process played out.  There are countless other situations within NFL where that was what happened.

Where did you read that Araiza was wrongfully accused?   There is a difference between the DA deciding that they can't win a case and being wrongfully accused.

Watching the game - I fully feel like the Bills could be out there, and even w/ our flaws, compete for the title.  We're no better or worse than either of these teams.

So much of it is getting hot "at the right time."  I don't know how a team does that - but we got hot too early. We need to be in this game next year

Maybe with some rose colored goggles one could say that the Bills are no worse than the Chiefs / Eagles.  The Bills got blown out in the Divisional round so they weren't exactly close to being in the Superbowl.

Gabe was a large disappointment for me this year, but I do believe he hurt his right hand early in the year. He dropped some easy throws several times that were not normal for him, and his contested ball work was very poor. I know we will give him one more chance but hope this year he gets it all together. I will also state he was certainly misused.

it’s possible Gabe may also have been affected by the earthquake in Buffalo this Monday.  So it might take a little longer for him to get it all together.

I have been certified in CPR since the early 1980's.  I have been a CPR Instructor since 1989.

I am 0 for 6 in doing CPR in the field.

For Kim's daughter to be successful in performing CPR on her Mom.....I am in awe!  What a pair of kids Kim and Terry have raised.

Thats not surprising since outside of a hospital,  CPR success rate is really low--around 10% at best.      Its not like the movies.

Hopefully the guy on this board that keeps complaining about "Not wanting to hear how the Bills had to overcome adversity" reads this article.  This goes beyond football, but Kim was a huge part of the organization, even going as far to make the players cookies.  You think that didnt weigh on them?

Keep going Kim.   You have an entire city behind you.

Am pretty sure the details of Kim’s illness were not shared with the Bills players before so your post about it affecting the players is bit absurd .

Josh Allen age 26 = Tom Brady age 26.

Tom Brady won his 2nd Super Bowl at 26.   It’s great that we have Josh but he is behind in terms of accomplishments.

I’ll agree with all of the negatives and now that he retired from the Bucs and probably for real this time, but the flip side to the narcissist is he has 6 rings.  He is the GOAT, but can’t move around to save his life.  Allen as has been described is the new version of of the modern cyborg athlete who is accurate, but pushes it sometimes.

Ill still take Allen any day of the week, and we are so incredibly lucky we’ll get

to enjoy him for the next 12-13 years.

6 rings with the Pats and 1 ring with the Bucs

Saffold in the Pro Bowl just shows how much of a joke it is.  Mind blowing.

Maybe the voters recognized that if he weren't gassed or exhausted from the trials and tribulations related to the Tops shooting,  the Miami game in the heat,  and even Kim Pegula's unknown health incident,  Saffold would have kicked butt

As horrible as they were, I don't think Kim's health or the Tops shooting or a hot game, nor a snow storm had anything to do with the team crapping the bed.

I remain convinced that last season (2021) was our year. We were CLICKING in the playoffs like i've never seen before. And it was stolen by some of the worst end of game coaching I've ever seen.

those were all high mountains to climb and the bills just got tired .  am sure they will all be energized next year to make another superbowl run without the need for major change .

Yes. Because the occupational hazards are real. Most will be out of the game in a few years, but the effects of the game will linger on for many as a detriment to themselves and others in society.  That's the big thing. They are damaged and then sent back into society broken.   Sound familar?

you are comparing playing a game to being in the military and fighting in a war ?

    D. Dawkins: 73.5

    R. Saffold: 43.7

    M. Morse: 61.4

    R. Bates: 61.8

    S. Brown: 51.4

For reference a solid NFL starter has a 70 grade…a pro bowl player has an 80ish grade…an all pro has a high 80s to low 90s grade..Trent Williams has the highest at 93.7

Josh Allen had over 5000 yards of offense and 42 touchdowns and had a PFF grade of 91.6 the highest of any QB with this line which graded out 26th blocking for him.

is Saffold’s grade really low because he was emotionally exhausted this year ?

Saffold looked exhausted since we signed him. These guys are professionals. They really don't have any reason to be more "exhausted" than the other teams who are still playing football. Everybody faces adversity and outside of the Hamlin incident, which ended up working out as well as it possibly could, it wasn't anything out of the ordinary.

+1    thought i did read here earlier that the Bills were emotionally spent because of the two Blizzards and the Tops shooting
