    Nah. I think his purpose in life is to provide entertainment on this board . After all, this is the same poster who took the position that Karlos Williams was a critical part of the Bills offense(the famous "Karlos is Key " thread).

    Usually such bold predictions don't go turn out very well. It would be great though if Allen did so well in TC and pre-season such that he was named the starter on day 1. I just don't see it happening .

    EJ had no shortage of arm strength . He could easily throw the football over an OL . Problem is that he also threw it over everyone else’s head. I think you are referring to Tyrod ?

    You don’t think Peterman the great will challenge for starter position like a number of guys led by SaviorPeterman said? Rodgers sat behind a HOF player. There wasn’t much developing being done. Same with Young . He was actually the starter on a horrible Tampa Bay before being rescued by the Niners ?

    How much of a teams W-L record is a result of GM decisions vs coaching? Whaley’s tenure overlapped with the Rex Ryan train wreck so I tend to give him a pass for that era.     What does the Super Bowl ring add? The judgment for HOF is based on career accomplishments of which Eli’s stats show mainly a average to above average QB

    I dont thing Manning has done enough to get into HOF. Career passer rating of 83.5 . 59.8 % completion percentage . 339TD to 228 INT. Not elite at all.

    Right now , there aren't many things Allen does better than HOF NFL QBs so not sure I get the reason for this thread. Maybe he throws the football farther?

    Don't the leading QBs in Today's NFL have a completion rate that is typically in the mid to high 60s? Kelly , Favre, and Marino had completion rates in sub 60s to low 60s during their NFL playing years. They didnt exactly have to improve much from their college days. Josh, on the other hand, would need to see a double digit increase in completion rate?

    Who did did the Giants pick tonight ? The Giants got Barkley - a player that should make an immediate impact by all accounts. Getting one of the prospect qbs that were not a sure thing when you still have a franchise one in place made no sense

    You cant blame middling QB performance on coaching all the time. Remember how so many here were saying that JP and EJ just needed different coaching to shine....
