  1. Seems unlikely. There would need to be an independent verification of injury and not just a player's claims right?
  2. Dude. Like Teddy said, time to let go of Peterman. You are approaching Dog17847 and BillsFan4Ever level fanaticism for a mediocre QB.
  3. If Fitz continues to be on a "hot" streak, will they insert Winston back in?
  4. There is a reason why no team has done that. Teams don’t call it quits on their first round QB after one season . This seems to escape you for some reason .
  5. Burple was was on here yesterday on the McBeane giving Peterman his shot thread. He did have a rather understated comment which was “Obviosuly , Peterman did not light things up....”
  6. I bet this person posts here too . Peterman defender writes to Deadspin
  7. Spoken like a true apologist . Nice work . You do realize that the reason those QBs you cited were given a lot of slack was because they were regarded as top talents as evidenced by higher draft positions ? Peterman was taken in the 5th round because he had been evaluated to be a limited QB . Lots of other limited QBs drafted in his position never even get a chance to start before they are cut from a team to never come back to NFL . So please stop with the words lamenting how poorly Peterman was treated .
  8. Yah. I heard he had an awesome W-L record for the Titans.
  9. Where garranimal? He normally appears to provide his support when there is a thread on Tebow. But seriously , since Tebow just wins, it may be worth a flyer since the Bills aren't winning much with the current lineup.
  10. That is the understatement of the week A good QB shouldn't need rely on being in rhythm. Need to be able to work through frequent disruptions which any good D will throw at you I did start a thread where I asked if Peterman got pulled too early . Most posters though felt that the notion was absurd =) So we just need to build the right team for Peterman to become Brees?
  11. I would put RG III more in the fluke category.
  12. This is professional football. Not a professional job like doctor, lawyer, engineer, nurse, pilot, etc. In the regular working world, you may have decades to be productive and keep moving up. In pro sports, the window to play and succeed is very very small.
  13. Keep working on his craft? What is "otherwise" after backup? You mean Nate might still be a starter? =) Wow
  14. I thought Tremaine is a bust. He gave up 40 points last week.
  15. I don't think any realistic fan would expect a win. However, a reasonable fan also wouldn't expect one of the worst QB performances ever. No first downs through the first half. And didn't Allen run for more yards than Peterman passed for ?
  16. So basically, Peterman should be given another chance to start because its not his fault he had a 0 QB rating last game.
  17. Maybe you need to just stick to setting up amusing polls?
  18. McD hasn't made a choice yet has he?
  19. What does the cliche playing with a "chip on their shoulder" actually mean in real life? If you have no QB talent for instance and get disrespected , does it mean that you magically acquire the talents of say Rodgers or Brady during the next game until you get that chip off your shoulder?
  20. Thats the problem when folks want to proclaim someone as the next greatest thing with a small body of work.
  21. Will Peterman's stats improve if we count the yards after each interception in his production? Seems like we should give him credit for that.
  22. Clarified those 3 TDS. But I don't disagree with you that EJ is an upgrade over the kind of play we ve gotten out of Peterman..
  23. They had 11 bodies on both sides of the ball at all times. How many of those were actual players seems to be up for debate.
  24. Clarified that post a little bit. There is no reason to think that a 5th round pick will magically look like Drew Brees after churning out two of the worst QB performances ever . in fact very few 5th rounder QBs even get to see as much starting time as Nate has. He should treasure the starting time that he has gotten since he can tell his kids and grandkids that he once started 3 games in the NFL
