I think the Ravens are praying someone trades for him but it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. At that point they’re basically screwed and he will probably sit or the Ravens could make an example out of him and just bench him. It could get ugly.

I said 2 years ago that the Jackson experiment in Baltimore was coming to a close and I still believe that. That first Bills game made their decision for them. That was his ceiling.

It’s time to move on before they all get fired.

So  I've missed the developments in the past week,   did the Jackson experiment come to a close?

I like counting all the new accounts, which after every pick, get created only to tell us they are super fans of that particular college team and we drafted a STUD!! Only to never hear from that specific poster/account again

Or the new accounts that were created just to B word about a pick and then disappear once there original position becomes embarrassing

The Houston playoff game?  When he was 14 years old?  Really?

Maybe you were asleep then ?  We played the Texans in the wildcard round in 2019 season…

He’s also put together one of the best playoff stretches for a QB statistically ever…Pats and KC games for the 21-22 season was pretty epic—he definitely has it in him.

no argument for me there. He’s shown he can perform at a high level in playoffs .  My point is that he’s up and down

no.. read back a couple posts. I did not see the math equations in small print. now go back and read my last reply to orange.

Didn’t see the subsequent replies as I had my response just sitting there before I got to click submit

Good that you finally understand The methodology .  It may not sit well with some folks but at least it tries to do a ranking. in systematic fashion rather than pure gut feel

Math. This is supposed to be done with a mathematical equation and until now you can't explain it. you have one offense with 3 of the 5 positions in the green and a little red and another team with 2 green and 3 red. It does not add up. period. There is no where in this formula that says a QB weighs more than another position group...   If that were true then somewhere it would say that in the formula the QB position or say the WR position outweighs other positional groups. but it does not say that.

Ummm.  You are seriously adding things up by using color counts?  The weights are right there in the chart and it is clear that the QB position contributes the most to the offensive group at 28%.  Everything else is much lower .

Shannon Sharpe, OJ, and Jim Kelly were not good at public speaking either, but they are or were in the broadcast media.

Nothing to give back as he has not accepted the tag offer yet. He is free to retire and do another job (except play pro football).

Have you heard Lamar speak?  Jim Kelly ,  who didn’t last long in his role in broadcast booth because he was bad,  was quite a bit more articulate

Think about it - He’s been shopping his wares but it seems the NFL GM’s know either he is injury prone or all the teams have a QB1 in mind.

Lamar has to know this and he gave it a good shot. So I’m wondering if he’s considering a broadcasting/communications sabbatical to let his body heal.

He’s an NFL MVP, playoff QB with several accolades. He could provide some sound in-depth analysis on FOX or CBS. Even Amazon. Not play by play, but maybe on field commentary or halftime, booth analysis or in studio.

He would get signed to a 3 yr / $60 million broadcasting contract in a heartbeat. He’s young enough to heal up while doing game analysis and then re-enter the NFL and fund his retirement.

    Just a thought.

Lamar”s public speaking talents are way below his athletic abilities .  He is not a good candidate for the broadcast booth

    And John Skelton of course.

Lots of other names out there that were on the BB most wanted list like Johnny Manziel, Christian Hackenberg , Tyler Bray,  Tyler Wilson.  Blue chip QBS all

Green Bay has had a Hall of Fame QB under center every season since 1992.  For the math challenged, that is 30 years in a row.

And now they have another 1st Round QB ready to step in, after three seasons of development on the bench.

Yes.  Most people believe they have underperformed in the playoffs... if you consider 15 division titles, three conference championships and two Super Bowl wins during that span "underperforming."  But that has to do with what they have surrounded Brett Favre/Aaron Rodgers with.

The Packers are the premier NFL franchise at handling the quarterback position.

What they are NOT is the model for giving a QB adequate support.  Particularly when it comes to weapons.

Green Bay wasted quite a few of the seasons of Prime play from Rodgers because of questionable coaching calls from McCarthy in playoffs  .

No there isn’t enough money for Terry Pegula for me to work for that fraud. I couldn’t stand Adelphia what John Rigas did defrauding people but he paid his price in prison. Terry Pegula should be in prison how much money he is legally stealing from Erie County and New York State. I thought Western New York hit rock bottom with John Rigas but Terry Pegula has no soul what a bum he should be in prison along with the New York State politicians giving him that tax money for political campaign contributions pay for play and money laundering. That new Buffalo Bills stadium not having a dome is criminal just flat out money laundering stealing from the taxpayers ridiculous in my opinion. Go Bills! Let’s Go Buffalo

Lots of win in this post.  Why would someone go to jail for something that you admit is legal?   And how is stadium funding related to money laundering?

I'm NOT a scout of any kind, amateur or professional, but my eyes tell me that the first WR off the board for the Bills should be Zay Flowers. The guy is a big play waiting to happen. Size be damned.

I can't help but think that drafting a player whose name is a combination of past Bills draft failures is bad Karma

    Zay Jones

    Erik Flowers

After losing a home game and the Bengals playoff game. It’s apparent. Spend the necessary money or none at all. Fire the decision makers and start over if they are too stubborn to change.

You should offer to donate the money for the dome then as  NY state isn’t forking over any additional funding. Just need a billion dollars or so.

There are 50 different income state tax codes. They range from a top rate of zero percent in several states to 13.3% in California.  In NYS the state income tax on $10MM would 964,000.  I Florida, it would be zero.  That might make a difference in decision making.

this is an overly simplistic analysis.  players get taxed based on where each football game is.  so if a dolphin team member plays 9 games in states where the tax is not zero, they will have a considerable tax bill still.
