    QBs don't win games. Teams do. I believe the point most people here are trying to make is that EJ benefited immensely from being on a stacked team. He did not carry FSU on his shoulders.

    Looking at the game tape is what tells a different story . Also EJ got another chance with the Raiders and couldn’t even stay on the roster for a no 2 or 3 spot.

    I watched the game. Did you ? It was not an off day for Mahomes. The Raiders DBs blanketed the Chiefs receivers and defended quite a few passes in that 2nd half.

    The Raiders have a decent running game and their secondary seems to be less suspect than ours at this point . I don't see us duplicating that formula.

    Gruden was the one who cut EJ after EJ had that one particularly disastrous preseason game with the Raiders.

    Didn't the Bucs just get Josh Rosen? Seems to me like they may not be all that interested in another 1st round QB from 2018.

    Good question. Not sure what the Falcons can work out with the post-June 1 cut rules. It may work. Trade scenario certainly may come into play. But if Ryan has nothing left in tank, would those teams be interested?

    Not with a 50 million cap hit. 26.5 million might be possible if they have no one else adding to dead cap.

    I saw from a Yale article that the conversion rate for 4th and 1 was around 65% as of 2015. If the rate is that low, trying to go for it rather than kicking a surer field goal with over 94% success rate was quite dumb. I wouldn't trust any winning percentage analysis at all in that situation.

    Well, Mahomes did pass for 340 yards. I read here that it doesn't matter if your defense has holes. Just pass for 300 yards baby.
