3 worst passing teams right now are...
prissythecat replied to Artem Lipatov's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Titans are the 19th ranked passing team so they are in the bottom half of the league. You would have a point if they were in say the top 10 passing. -
What will be the game plan???

Nah. typical facile analysis from you. In the second half , instead of trying to go for the long developing passing plays, they changed up the offense to run more and get the ball out quicker with short timed routes to minimize the pressure on Josh. It wasn't because they followed your plan. -

Your post is Irrelevant. When you have Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt on your roster like the Browns you run the ball primarily . When you have Greg Roman as your OC , as the Ravens do , you are going to be run oriented . -

The Ravens and Browns are run heavy by design. So wouldn’t really use the stat to conclude that their QBs totally suck at passing. The Jets are just plain awful so not surprised they are at bottom . -

yes. The first 29 min followed your type of offense that’s why it stunk -

The strength of the Steeler defense is against the pass. I believe they are ranked 1st in passing yards allowed per game at just under 200 yards allowed per game. So we are likely not going to see your favorite meaningless 300 yard stat. I think the Bills will need to have a balanced attack and rush the ball to open up the pass. -
Bills could play entire AFC playoffs at home

Amazing bipolar exhibition. I seem to recall doom and gloom posts about the Bills finishing at .500 or worse just a few weeks ago . -
End of the Carson Wentz Era
prissythecat replied to Giuseppe Tognarelli's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A lot of hyperbole in this post. Wentz injured his ACL late in 2017. By then the Eagles were already at 11 wins I believe. Nick Foles had a good run that year in relief. But I would not say he "outplayed" Wentz. To add to this further, Wentz's QB rating in 2017 was 101.9, in 2018 it was 102.2, and in 2019 it was 93.1. A QB rating over 100 for a season is pretty darn good. While a rating over 90 is above average. So to say that Wentz was never good to begin with is totally off base. -
Denver Bronco's seem to be the real deal
prissythecat replied to Kwai San's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They had to kick a bunch of field goals because Denver's D was good at going after Mahomes and forced him to rush the pass or hold the ball too long. Not a lot of defenses can put pressure like that. -

Let's also get Da'Rick . Now there is a trifecta we can be proud of. -

I still remember when a number of posters thought that there was a conspiracy going on when he was not being put on the field. -
Black Monday is coming (UPDATE: is here!).....

Wasn't too long ago when folks here sung the praises of the McCarthy regime and sung praises of his coaching staff especially his ability to develop QBs. Where are those QBs again lol? -
Eagles HC Pederson on the hot seat with job status
prissythecat replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Doug Pederson's record with the Eagles stands at 41-33 over 5 seasons. Seems a bit premature to have him on the hot seat especially since the roster is a mess right now. It was pointed out by a few on here that the Eagles had mortgaged long term for short term with the roster moves they made a couple of seasons back. So what we are seeing is the chickens coming home to roost . But hey, superbowl.... -
Bosa isn''t a LB though. He is a DE.

Denver forced to play with no QB
prissythecat replied to PirateHookerMD's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Got it. Interesting way to look at it . But I would personally rank based on who is actually in the profession right now. Counting a wannabe QB who is doing something else in life at this point may not give a valid population base. -
Saints to start Taysom Hill over Jameis Winston
prissythecat replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I watched the game vs Denver yesterday and was amazed at how bad Taylor Hill looked when he was trying to throw the ball. Can Winston be that bad ? Or is Payton just looking to have a hand off machine who can run a little on the side until Brees can return? -

how can someone be in the top 3% of their position and be awful? If there are 32 nfl teams with 3 qbs per team, how does your math work out? -
Should we give the Bills a pass vs. LAC???
prissythecat replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Is this a complaint because the Bills won by not following your gameplan of chucking the ball for 300 yards ? Josh only had 157 yards yesterday In the air yesterday so it was bad. -
The Broncos are more likely to score with their defense lol. Taysom Hill looks really shaky when he is not running the ball.
