  1. jeffsmagic last logged on to this board around mid2020 from a quick lookup. And he posted till summer 2017. So they probably are different people.
  2. Zerovoltz likes to troll. Though he's not as bad as what you would expect from fans of opposing teams. Wouldn't take a lot of what he posts here seriously.
  3. Tampa Bay only blitzed Mahomes five times. No need to be blitz happy when KCs oline was overmatched . https://www.theringer.com/nfl-playoffs/2021/2/8/22271957/winners-and-losers-super-bowl-lv-tom-brady-patrick-mahomes-buccaneers-chiefs
  4. Love all the whining going on in the Chiefs fan forum . Blaming the refs lol
  5. A number of folks are likely cheering because of Bruce Arians. He deserves to win a Superbowl. Its not necessarily Brady
  6. Foles : 64.7 % completion , 10 touchdowns 8 ints, 1852 yards. 80.8 passer rating Hurts: 52.0 % completion , 6 touchdowns 4 ints, 1061 yards, 77.6 pssser rating Nothing better in those passing stats. Did you mean that Hurts is a bigger threat with his, legs ?
  7. Hmm. Foles probably still throws a lot better than Hurts can at the NFL level. So unless they are looking to implement a Greg Roman type offense not quite sure that Hurts should be considered the starter.
  8. Haha. Are the Eagles hoping that Foles can be a decent bridge with their aging and depleted roster?
  9. Wow . That was quite the draft. I see two Buffalo Barbarian approved QBs in there as well You mean Cody Parkey double doinked the Eagles to the 2nd round? Lol
  10. they just resigned peterman and have Mariota. How can you be in bad shape if you have the most pro ready qb from us draft class as well as a former chip Kelly protege .
  11. But Peterman proceeded to have more than one game with the Bills. For instance, he was our starter against the Ravens. For that game , he hd a 0 passer rating. Imagine that zero. Also, Peterman's career passer rating in the 30s is actually worse than what you would get just throwing the ball into the ground all the time as I recall.
  12. He got some votes but wasn't even close though to the eventual winner ?
  13. Perhaps Gruden knows something most of us don't? Remember how Peterman had a small but fiercely loyal following here. There had to be some reason for it.
  14. They would need to get him under a long term contract first?
  15. Not really. speaks to ability to assess QB talent. Just like this past season a number of guys proclaimed Tua to be the real deal and an upcoming superstar. Yet he there is now tremendous noise around him being offloaded.
  16. Not too long ago a number of folks here considered Carr a stud.
  17. I was kinda looking forward to seeing Tua duke it out with Josh twice a year given that he was the real deal and is super accurate.
  18. Not a bad idea. Texans actually would fare quite well in a scenario where they just let Watson sit out...
  19. Cam's career passer rating is 85.8. That puts him in mediocre QB territory. In contrast career passer ratings for elite QBs like your Brady/Brees/Rogers and the latest generation of Mahomes / Watson / Wilson are in the high 90s to low 100s. So which hot take is incorrect? That Cam was good or that he was mediocre?
  20. The guy was a runner who could throw . Never was really a passer as evidenced by career completion rate below 60% and passer rating in the 80s. Cam is mediocre as per Colin Cowherd
  21. the only way that happens is if Detroit has an all pro RB who makes play action extremely credible. Goff has problems generating plays on his own.
  22. Whoa . You are implying that Kyler Murray isn't any good as a passer? But I read here that he is a stud and that he is actually 5'10" .
