Ahh. An argument base on transitivity. Because we beat the shell of the Saints and the Saints beat the Bucs, we should beat the Bucs. Similarly, because we beat WFT and WFT beat the Bucs, we should beat the Bucs . I like it.
Weren't the Saints still reasonable talented when they faced Tampa? I think Kamara was still there and so was Jameis? We faced the corpse that was left after injuries. And WFT is actually a competitive team right now.
You stated that our offense is going to put up points . I countered that by highlighting that Tampa's defense can put a lot of pressure on the QB so seeing many points from the Bills was not likely. Then you go on a tangent and say Tampa loses games that they should win. In answer to that , I point out that Tampa has lost all of 3 games.
So you are not winning any argument so far....
We scored 6 points vs Jags in Florida as they teed off on the passing game since we don't have a run game to be afraid of. Tampa gets to the quarterback quite a bit better than Jags. So I am not expecting many points on the board.
You should have seen what this board was like after bad losses during the drought. Lots of people who rarely posted would come out of the woodwork to offer many words of "wisdom"
A quick google search seems to indicate that a team that rushes for over 200 yards wins around 88% of the time . Passing for over 200 is not so meaningful .
Giving up over 200 yards on the ground, especially when you know the team is just going to keep handing it off is a disaster no matter which way you spin it. Lipstick on a pig.... Incidentally , what percent of teams giving up over 200 yards on the ground win games? I suspect its a very small percentage
Thanks for the nice write-up . I read on another thread though that the game was horrible to watch and that bad weather should result in postponement of football games.
It goes beyond this single thread. You just need to look at the thread history.
Am sure not many people found the game entertaining if they were expecting chunk plays through the air. But New England certainly got quite a few chunk plays on the ground...
Football is meant to be played in the elements . No reason to call the game unless there is health and safety type threat. You are just putting up another LAMP.
The Packers knew that Rodgers was unvaccinated. They even tried to get him an exemption from the vaccination requirement based on his home brewed treatments.
