  1. You all may have already discussed this but is there any way we could trade Lee Evans before 10/31 that would benefit both the Bills and the other team? If there is one thing we need it is as many draft picks we can get to have a chance at rebuilding over the next 3 to 4 years. Yes I'm an optimist!

The trade deadline is Oct 19 so not that much time left.

  2. I'm hearing that Moss is off to Minnesota and Adrian Peterson is going to Seattle. Seattle and Minn. are swapping RB's!!!

We are now working on trading Minnestota next years first rnd pick and third rnd pick to get Lynch back. Yeaahhhhh! :worthy:

Hmmmm. Nice. That stuff you are smoking must be awesome

  3. This is not true. There are a ton of examples of great quarterbacks who succeed despite playing behind a poor offensive line. Two examples (one from this year, one from last year, so that should keep it recent enough) are Jay Cutler and the terrible Bears offensive line this year, and Aaron Rodgers having a Pro-Bowl season and leading his team to the playoffs despite playing behind a terrible offensive line last year.

Hmm. That analysis may be oversimplify things How well did Green Bay's line play during the first half of season vs the last half? I believe most of the 50 sacks came during the first half? And this is when Green Bay only went 4-4? Once the offensive line started playing better and actually protecting him, they went 7-1?

The jury is still out on this year's Chicago Bears.

  4. Against the same defense Joe Flacco went 17/39 1TD 4INT and 154 yds, so I guess he is a bust too. I mean he did throw more interceptions. Give the kid a break on his first start in the rain might I add. Here are some other interesting first starts:

    Manning:

    21/37 302yds 1TD 3INT 58.6 Rating

    Brady:

    13/23 168yds 0TD 0INT 79.6 Rating

    McNabb

    8/20 68yds 0TD 1INT 28.8 Rating

I guess these guys are all busts too, right? Anyone?

Will Clausen be the equal of any of those 3? Or will he follow in the footsteps of Brady Quinn?

  5. The game was lost today, when the clueless redneck coaching this team, decides to kick a field goal at the end of first half, instead of going for it on fourth and one inch. As if that 3 points was going to hold up against Brady. And Brady gets those 3 points back in 3 plays.

The scrooge owner, after making a 900 million profit on this team/community, still cant bring himself to pay for a real coaching staff. Can we ever have a defensive coordinator who has ever been a defensive coordinator/head coach before? Its always the Bills have a D coordinator who is doing it for the first time. You could tell today. You get what you pay for

Normally we would expect trolling from folks that just registered within the past few days or weeks. But it seems we have a troll who has been registered since 2001. Nice.

  6. You're off base here. The secondary is very good. That ridiculously bad front 7 you mentioned makes their efforts go to waste. We get zero pass rush. NFL rules virtually guarantee open receivers if you get some time. You just can't cover forever, and you can't cover much better than most of our DB's did today. The Moss TD you mentioned was blown coverage by our least talented db (Whitner) but overall this secondary is way above average. NE would take our guys (save Whitner) any day over what they have out there. Our struggles on D are a product of no talent on the DL or at LB.

Yup. Unfortunately, Brady had all day to throw with the non-existent pass rush. He will carve up any secondary with that kind of time.

  7. Yet another team that was pathetic and suffering from owner-intervention(Skins) rebuild themselves back into being competitive. What did they do????

-Got a real coach (Not some low $$$ bum off the scrap heap) - Statement to the fans.

-Got a real QB (NOT one of our guys deserves to share the same position with McNabb)

-Drafted O-Linemen with their high picks. (Drafting spiller was the same as the T.O. move: selling tickets)

-They have a 2nd legitimate threat to their #1 receiver to take the dbl coverage off. (Lee deserves much better)

-We had EVERY SINGLE opportunity to do the same (including Orakpo). I'm still in shock that the OL wasn't addressed this off season. (5th round draft picks and Cornell f-cking Green?????)

So...I predict that you can add the Skins to the list of teams now on the right track. McNabb under center makes it immediately very interesting. This organization behaves as if it's in a bubble and set apart from the league. Everyone has surpassed us. Pathetic.

Hmmm. Am I missing something? The Redskins just started their season playing the Cowboys around 820 pm. And yet you are already declaring them a resounding success? Seems a bit premature.

  8. The prototypical nose these days is 350. That's what most teams look for in their NT. Not a lie at all, just the modern NFL. Pretty common known information.

Since when did a pro sports team aim to have their player at a particular weight regardless of other factors such as height? That does not make sense.
