6 Worst Teams In The League
prissythecat replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You weaken your argument by saying that the Packers record and the Lions does not reflect their talent. For instance, almost everyone who looked at the Bills defensive roster before the season started said that we would be a force on the defensive front.... After this weekend , it is quite likely that the Pack will be 2-4 and the Lions will be 1-4 . Their losing records are not flukes. They reflect the fact that both teams have some fundamental issues on both sides of the ball that need to be addressed. -
Cardinals set new franchise records in rushing and receiving?

QB's we can make a play 4, Other than Draft
prissythecat replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Some other options to throw out there following some of thereasoning that I have seen in this thread: 1. JP Losman throws a really nice looking ball and has a few NFL wins under his belt. 2. Jeff George has a super strong arm and apparently has been itching to get back into the NFL 3. Brian Brohm has a good arm and threw for a ton of yards and looked really good in college. 4. Jamarcus Russell can throw a football over 50 yards on his knees and just needs to get back into NFL playing shape 5. Matt Leinart won quite a few games in college and loves to party. 6.. Dan LeFevour generated a fever here quite a few years back and I'm sure people would love to see him in a Bills uniform. -
6 Worst Teams In The League

Cam Newton is no longer a rookie. He had a good first season . But he has certainly struggled so far this year. -
Was Vince Young that bad?

So besides gracing this board with your football insights, you now offer your psychic insights into player mentality? Thats really cool. -
Was Vince Young that bad?
prissythecat replied to Livinginthepast's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am also siding with beer and ryan on this one. Positing that Vince Young was happy to get be unemployed because of the Bills situation is patently absurd considering the well documented financial problems that VY is currently facing. -
[closed]The Stash's Record Before the Bills Job.......
prissythecat replied to fbzh2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Your post is pretty dismal... If you are going to say that someone's coaching records is dismal, back it up with facts or stats. I did a quick scan of Wanny's coaching record and find that really only his Chicago stint can be rated as dismal with a 41-57 record that included one playoff appearance. At Pitt, his record was 42-31 with 3 bowl appearances. At Miami, his record was also 42-31, with playoff appearances during two seasons. Winning records do not equal "dismal". -
The difference between Jim Harbaugh and Chan Gailey
prissythecat replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Where did I ever say that Gailey was a good coach or had good people skills lol? My point is that comparing the results on the Niners vs Bill in terms of Win-Loss record is a faulty analysis. The Niners and Bills were not equal teams when the new coaching regimes took over. As for your McCarthy worship... If we took away Rodgers and put in Brian Brohm, would we still get the same magical results becaus of McCarthy's godlike coaching abilities? I don't think so. -
Jaws rates Fitz #30 of 32 Starting NFL QBs
prissythecat replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can't view that complete article. But am curious what kind of objective criteria Jaws uses to rank QBs. Fitz's QBR probably doesnt put him in the bottom 3 QBs. Seems like the ranking is more of a gut feel type exercise? -
The difference between Jim Harbaugh and Chan Gailey
prissythecat replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How many players from the singletary era are starters today on the niners vs the numbers of bills starters from the jauron era? I believe it's something like a 2 to 1 ratio? singletary was not a good head coach. That's why the niners underachieved. Almost the same thing can be said about the chargers. Their considerable talent is wasted by the nov turner regime. -
The difference between Jim Harbaugh and Chan Gailey
prissythecat replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You really miss the point of my post. I never said anything about the Bills having a better coach or management. I just said that comparing Win vs Loss like the article that the OP references is very misleading because the Niners already had a solid team there. The Bills did not have a solid team when Nix/ Gailey took over. They still aren't right now. Now for some of your arguments... In 2009 for the Bills , Lynch averaged 3.8 ypc over 13 games. In 2010 for the Seahawks, Lynch averaged 3.5 ypc over 12 games. Frank Gore averaged 4.9 ypc in 2009 and 4.2 ypc in 2010 for the Niners. Marshawn was our featured back till he was traded in 2010. Do you still want to say that Marshawn constituted a good running game? No one is afraid of a running back who requires a million carries to get to 1000 yards. And that is why Marshawn was trade bait (his off the field problems also didnt help of course) On defense, according to nfl.com , the Niners were 13th in overall defense for 2010 (the year before Harbaugh took over) . In 2009 (the year before Gailey took over), the Bills were 19th in overall defense. 13th is decent. 19th is not. -
The difference between Jim Harbaugh and Chan Gailey
prissythecat replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To be fair to Gailey, this is not quite an apples to apples comparison. Harbaugh inherited a very good team in terms of talent. San Fran already had a good defense and a solid running game. When Gailey came on board, what did we have? -
I seem to remember that he was supposed to stop posting a while back after Freddie was sidelined. Yet, he has kept coming back.

The Tarvaris Jackson Trade - huh?
prissythecat replied to Beebes Bubble's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
7th round picks have almost no value. And 1.75 mil ain't a large salary. So what is your point? -
Mooreman... Anyone else feel this way?
prissythecat replied to ShipUPride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You do know that the Bills have to pay Moorman his entire 2012 salary still right? -
Lol. Thats exactly my point. There was a touch of sarcasm in my original post about Bulaga ;-) You don't go reaching for a player just because you need someone at a position. He would have been a wasted pick at 9.
-
Buffalo has to pay all of Moorman's 2012 season salary though even if he signs with another team
-
I still think we should have gotten Bulaga instead like a number of posters here had wanted. He's a dominant tackle. Looked good againt Irvin last night.

I cannot find any other media outlet confirming the release yet

What does the F5 reference mean?

How's Aaron Maybin been doing?
prissythecat replied to Wayne Fontes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How can that be ? I thought Maybin was a classic example of the Bills just failing to "coach up" players. -
If Maybin steps up his game to fill some of the void left by the loss of Revis, then maybe the Jets can still compete.

Did Chan pull the plug too early On Vince Young?
prissythecat replied to PS 56's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Trent was given more than enough of a chance by the new regime. Not sure where your revisionist thinking is coming from. VY will likely not be given another chance in the NFL ...
