    Brady Quinn had a decent showing against Carolina. He is a Leinart contemporary so we should consider him too as part of our initiative to salvage failed first round QBs.

    I think even Arian Foster would have some problems running behind a porous Green Bay OL. Also, as stated by Weo, Green Bay's defense is a big liability. Superbowl is likely not going to be in the picture for Green Bay until they fix these problems.

    The Bill played some solid ball as I recall during the 2004 season? They still had Bledsoe as QB. For 2005, they had Losman and Holcomb at QB. Hard to win with that combo.

    Lets add Claussen to the list. He didn't get a fair shot in Carolina apparently either.

    The Jets Nation posters are reporting that Aaron Maybin has been cut. Should we pick him up considering what a "break out" season he had last year? A number of posters here were touting how well Ryan coached him up compared to our coaching staff.

    The Bears have Jason Campbell as their backup. You probably have not watched much football if you dont know who he is?

    How about Mike Leach? With some new controversy related to player mistreatment , he may be out of a job soon as well. I hear he has a few fans here lol

    He only had NFL one stint where he was out of football for an extended period of time . I believe it was 3 years between his Chiefs and Redskins gig . His Redskins stint was his worst performance with just a .500 record. Everything else was within a year of the previous job.

    Shady McCoy is darn good running back. Probably one of the top open field guys out there. A major issue is that Reid underutilizes him.

    Do star coaches who return to the NFL after being out for an extended period of time have the same degree of success? Or has the game passed them by such that they are not effective?

    Besides Mallett, have the Pats drafted a QB with a 2nd or 3rd round pick in recent times? It seems like a waste to be using a high pick that can help plug glaring talent holes on a QB crapshoot.

    So he looked good against guys that probably are not in the NFL right now . That is not a good enough sample to say he is better than the Bills current QB roster.

    Nix has definitely added talent to the team so I am at least neutral . Gailey and staff have not made effective use of the talent at this point.

    Weren't the Saints blitzing most of the night? I would think Vick and the coaches have some responsibility in recognizing that and then adjusting to it. Can't blame everything on the line.
