  1. Yes, I am sure Cincinnati made it to the playoffs not because of a defense that was ranked within top 10 in both 2011 and 2012.
  2. How do people come up with this stuff. The Bills players do not go in to their games expecting to lose.... They have a losing record because they still lack key people on coaching end and player end.
  3. Yup. During the time that Dick Lebeau was not on staff, I believe Cowher averaged less than 9 wins a year. Hardly a winning record to get excited about .
  4. Cowher hasn't coached since 2007 too, yet a number of posters here seem to think he is the greatest thing since sliced bread lol.
  5. Gailey was let go by Haley around Aug 2009 and then hired by the Bills in January 2010. How does that add up to 2 years?
  6. Lol. Did you mean pur special teams have been pedestrian? Pedantic | Define Pedantic at Dictionary.com dictionary.reference.com/browse/pedantic overly concerned with minute details or formalisms, especially in teaching. Also, pe·dan·ti·cal. Origin: 1590–1600; pedant + -ic. Related forms. pe·dan·ti·cal·ly, ...
  7. Are the Bills actually paying Tarvaris 3M or is it something less than that because of incentive clauses that have not become reality? Some folks may question the statement that VY is a competent QB at this point. He got beat out for a backup spot on the Eagles by Trent Edwards of all people before the Bills decided to kick the tires.
  8. Is that the guy who fancied himself as the "beacon of clarity" because of his special insight into the state of the BIlls?
  9. I guess there are lots of teams out there interested in Tarvaris' services as a backup qb?
  10. Vick was successful for half a season in 2010. Has he really looked good after that?
  11. Sanchez did not take the Jets to the playoffs with his awesome skills . It was more a function of the Jets elite defense and solid running game...
  12. Not only is he short of funds, he also lacks any proven track record in managing a complex business. Not quite sure why people continue to think of Jim Kelly as the team's savior .
  13. Cleveland has a tough defense . Will be interesting to see how Cousins does in a full game.
  14. Ah yes. Its all a conspiracy . The Pats continue to cheat.
  15. An interesting question to ask about Flynn is why the Dolphins passed up on the chance to get him. Did Philbin, his coach in Green Bay, not think highly enough of him to be able to support beating out Seattle's offer?
  16. Quinn is already on his third team. How many shots does he need?
  17. Those tickets were paid for. Salvatore is using the giveaway as a marketing tool.
  18. Sanchez did not carry the team those years. They had a very strong running game and a top defense that contributed to their winning seasons. When those went away the last two seasons, we have seen the real Sanchez emerge. Even if he no longer can find a starting gig , Sanchez has immortalized himself this year with his "ass-fumble"
  19. Kaepernick is not undefeated. The Niners lost to the RAMs (of all teams) yesterday. Beating the Bears is not exactly an impressive accomplishment.
  20. Brady Quinn had a decent showing against Carolina. He is a Leinart contemporary so we should consider him too as part of our initiative to salvage failed first round QBs.
  21. I think even Arian Foster would have some problems running behind a porous Green Bay OL. Also, as stated by Weo, Green Bay's defense is a big liability. Superbowl is likely not going to be in the picture for Green Bay until they fix these problems.
  22. The Bill played some solid ball as I recall during the 2004 season? They still had Bledsoe as QB. For 2005, they had Losman and Holcomb at QB. Hard to win with that combo.
  23. Uhhh. Are you still working on finishing your liquor supply from Thanksgiving?
