  1. Its interesting that a lot of posters are saying that Stevie now has a "real QB" and hence he should put up big numbers. I am not completely sold on Kaepernick . I think he will struggle and will not be able to carry SF if their running game sputters and the defense continues to have setbacks (e.g., Aldon Smith, Navarro Bowman)
  2. I don't recall that the reason for the Braves leaving Buffalo was the facilities at the Aud... You may need to read up on your sports facts. Also , a lot of people would rather have the BPO here . It is a quality org.
  3. Lol. That is not entirely impossible.
  4. The Wall Street Journal had an interesting article about how NFL teams are now paying a lot more attention to the size of a QBs hands when evaluating QBs. EJ supposedly had big mitts. And I'm sure the Bills didn't get him because he could pack a snowball better or play patty cake.... http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702304856504579338703990998202
  5. Based on the threat title, I thought that we may have dueled for something
  6. Keepernick hasn't proven he can be an effective passer . He's a one read qb. The strong San Fran defense carries the team . Wilson has played better but he benefits from Seattle'a defense too . Seattle only averaged something like 23 points in regular season .
  7. Good luck cheering for the Steelers . But might have been better to pick the Bengals or Colts, who have developed a pretty good nucleus of players.
  8. If you put Wilson on our team, you think he would still have a 75% win percentage?
  9. I thought that Indy sucked for Luck on purpose as a number of posters here have said?
  10. Bradshaw had some rather mediocre stats as a QB. He was certainly clutch when it counted in the SB , but he probbly doesn't deserve mention among the Montana's or Marino's of the world.
  11. Well the facts are bogus in this case. Marshawn was never rookie of the year. Here is a list of Offense Rookie of the Year Winners since 2001 2001 Thomas ! Anthony Thomas Chicago Bears Running back 2002 Portis ! Clinton Portis Denver Broncos Running back 2003 Boldin ! Anquan Boldin Arizona Cardinals Wide receiver 2004 Roethlisberger ! Ben Roethlisberger Pittsburgh Steelers Quarterback 2005 Williams, CadillacCadillac Williams Tampa Bay Buccaneers Running back 2006 Young ! Vince Young Tennessee Titans Quarterback 2007 Peterson ! Adrian Peterson Minnesota Vikings Running back 2008 Ryan ! Matt Ryan Atlanta Falcons Quarterback 2009 Harvin ! Percy Harvin Minnesota Vikings Wide receiver 2010 Bradford ! Sam Bradford St. Louis Rams Quarterback 2011 Newton ! Cam Newton Carolina Panthers Quarterback 2012 Griffin ! Robert Griffin III[5] Washington Redskins Quarterback
  12. Safer for everyone or is it just safer for a particular protected class?
  13. Nope. Don't you know that it's a "QB Driven League" ?
  14. Their ROY had basically the same QB rating as Fitz this season. And they won an amazing 3 games. They also don't have a first round pick this year because they traded it away . They are not headed in the right direction .
  15. The weather wasn't a factor in the lack of production by Wilson.
  16. Interesting projection. With Reggie Wayne and Dwayne Allen likely being back in lineup next season, will Da'Rick be able to get enough playing time to get that much production ?
  17. The two teams that won this past Sautrday showcased a ground and pound game and tough defense. Total rushing yards (the more important stat than individual rushing) for Pats was 234 , while total passing by Brady was only 198. The Seahawks beat the the Saints with 174 yards total on the ground and just 103 in the air. On the flipside, Luck passed for 331 yards while Brees has 309 yards in their losing efforts. You still win games by controlling the ball and not trying to pass for a gazillion yards.
  18. That sure look liked pass interference on Thomas...
  19. Based on our resident QB gurus, trade up to get Johnny Football. Offense fixed lol.
  20. Yes. That it does. Though, a lot of posters here would say otherwise
  21. You just automatically shot down your own argument since all those QBs made it to at least one Superbowl and ended up winning it.
  22. Yes. This thread would likely blow up to 100 pages .
  23. Why would they need Branch when they have future HOF WR Rogers lol. But seriously, can Branch actually offer any insight on Pats offense at this point being one year removed?
  24. I watched the whole game. It turned because of a combination of poor coaching from Reid and losses of key KC players on offense and defense , not some magical Da'Rick catch.
  25. As a previous poster said, this is a big stretch. Its almost like a now famous post from a few years back that claimed that Lee Evan single-handled altered the dynamic in the AFC central between the Ravens and Steelers ;-)
