    It's potentially the start of a decent analysis . But is this truly an apples to apples comparison? For instance , are the defenses that we faced through the first 9 games the same in terms of ranking ? I suspect it's not .

    Trade EJ to Jets for Geno. They can both benefit from a change of scenery. And besides I know a number of posters here love QBs that throw nice looking balls like Geno does.

    You keep mentioning Cowher is a supreme talent evaluator. Where is the evidence of this? Talent is usually picked up by a GM / scouting staff not the coach. Also , can you explain the big drop in W-L percentage and playoff appearances during the time that Cowher did not have Lebeau on staff? Maybe it was Lebeau who is the actual talent evaluator lol.

    We ve had infatuations with a number of QBs who looked good briefly on stacked teams : Kolb , Flynn, etc.

    Before even considering making a play for him , would need to ask why the GM has soured on him and why the drop off in play this year .

    Put Kelly and Sanchez on the Jags. Will we see the same results? Probably not.

    Ummm. The Texans have a bottom 5 defense in terms of total yards allowed per game. They are middle of the pack for points against. Those aren't the things associated with a top defense.

    The Giant are in a rebuild mode though at this point almost like the Jets.

    Sorry to hear about your bad experience with a professional degree. Albany ranks as a third / fourth tier law school . Looked up their stats and they are showing only a 30% employment rate at graduation. In this economy , it's hard to get a decent job coming out of most schools unless you are in one of those big name law schools or are the top student elsewhere.
