  1. Are we playing on the moon this Sunday?
  2. So if Eli won those Superbowls all by himself, why have the Giants been so awful the past few seasons? Or is it because the team around the QB counts as well?
  3. Perhaps both. But mainly highlights right now. Didn't everyone love Manziel doing the "money " gesture after scoring? Or how about how he flopped in end zone after fumbling and being bowled over by Kyle?
  4. Manziel is a BB favored QB and was available to us during last years draft. Imagine the highlight reels we would have.
  5. It's nice to be a troll
  6. Couple of things. The moment any post mentions a BB favored QB, it pretty much implies it's tongue I'm cheek ;-) Secondly, its amazing how negative the reaction to Kaepernick is now when just two season ago everyone was saying how amazing he was and how Buddy messed up not drafting him. Just goes to show how fickle folks can be. It's more about what is the coolest new shiny toy rather than evaluating actual talent and longevity. Lastly, quite a few folks kept talking about how the Mario signing was a supreme waste of money. For instance, I still remember the arguments about how if the Bills had drafted Jason Pierre Paul instead then no need to spend all that money . Now compare the performance of Mario and JPP the past few seasons and we can see what the equivalence is. Even adjusting for JPPs injury issues, it's not even close. Mario over JPP all day.
  7. A number of resident QB experts here have repeatedly posted in past about what a stud QB Kaepernick is. And I'm pretty sure he has the BB seal of approval. However, he hasn't really played well in the past two seasons after the read option fad went away . Perhaps a change of scenery will benefit Kaepernick and the Niners--who are not making the best use of a very talented roster currently. Mario is probably one of our more attractive trade candidates . And we need to have another QB option for next year . Thoughts ?
  8. You have to take those completion percentage stats into context. Griffin is completing mainly screens , dumpoffs, crossing routes currently. Those are easy passes to complete.
  9. He has performed well mostly against crappy defenses (Panthers, Cowboys, Titans) ? If he can keep up the level of play against Seattle, then we can say things have changed. I suspect though that we will see the same Sanchez that New York Jets fans came to love.
  10. I believe it was 3 1st round picks and 1 2nd round pick to acquire the rights for RG3 . Then 1 4th round pick to get Cousins. It was brilliant "out of the box " thinking to use 5 picks to get two QBs who are now sitting on the bench.
  11. RGIII benched. Colt McCoy will get the starter job against Colts. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/11940146/washington-redskins-start-colt-mccoy-robert-griffin-iii-indianapolis-colts
  12. Hmmm. I would rather look at Bradford as a number of folks here have proposed. RG3 is going to be another project QB.
  13. Management will cut QBs if they feel they can no longer move forward with them. See Trent Edwards getting release and replaced by Fitz.
  14. The Bills defense probably only has 1 to 2 seasons left before free agency and natural attrition cause drop offs in our D line. Fred has maybe 1 season left in the tank. Are the Bills willing to keep a long term project QB on roster to backup or position as starter, or will they try to make a splash with the acquisition of another free agent QB to compete with Kyle?
  15. We would be Superbowl contenders by now with Skelton.
  16. Well multiple firsts were given up for Robert Griffin.
  17. Yes. Just ask the OP.
  18. Sure. We should also trade for Blake Bortles since he is well on his way to being something special.
  19. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000433310/article/niners-take-advantage-of-rgiii-continue-to-win-ugly "..The Redskins' passing game lacks structure because Griffin struggles to read defenses and is only completing dumpoffs, screens and crossing routes..."
  20. I like that idea. Imagine the players we would get ?
  21. In his rookie season, RG3 played in a gimmick offense that did not require him to sit back in pocket and read a defense. Read option offenses don't work anymore. And RG3 hasn't been able to adjust to that.
  22. Well Chip Kelly is a genius who can make any QB look elite.
  23. Foles's current replacement Sanchize is not a dual threat QB . No one would be afraid of him trying to run the ball. For all his supposed athleticism, EJ runs like a headless chicken. So I don't see how he would fit into a dual threat role.
  24. I thought it was Chris Hogan who was a dime a dozen ;-)
  25. I'm all for Bryce being productive. Just have to hope that he doesn't cough up the ball.
